    Even though I will by this…Little tip, you can use Stihl Kombi attachment on Dewalt line trimmer powerhead if you take nub off the Kombi attachment.

    Hello Tim, thanks, I've only had mine a couple of days, but my findings up to now are exactly the same as yours on the video
    As you say, it doesn't come with the extension pole so I sent off for one (£46 pp) !! But it's worth it 👌.
    It surprised me how good it was on beech hedges but I've found it great for cutting off water shoots from my apple trees, overkill I know but I can reach them .👍
    It's also, due to its length, without extension, great for a conifer hedge in the front garden too I could only get straight with luck .Best bit is that joint hasn't failed 😳, I thought it would first try but so far 🤞
    Motor gets a little warm but it has enough power .So thanks Again, Ian U.K.

    I just purchased one of these and I have many Dewalt tools including the pole chainsaw. I was very concerned by the floppy joint and even wondered if it was a fake considering the apparent poor quality compared to all other Dewalt tools. Hopefully mine will also last but I may end up locking up the joint as the side to side slop is annoying when trying to cut straight. Your review has at least indicated that it is a real Dewalt - Thanks.

      Thanks for taking the time to comment Jerry I have now must be close to three rears I think on this tool and it’s held up. You know for the first two years of his life. I used it once or twice a week now use it last but it’s just as flexible as when I got it and it hasn’t broken yet.

    Tim, thanks for that review. I am about to buy the pole trimmer, mainly because I have other dewalt cordless tools. I have asked Dewalt if I can use the pole saw extension with the trimmer. They say no...and that the warranty would be voided. My question...has your use of the saw extension on the trimmer resulted in ANY problems? Regards Gordon

    I’m actually surprised that it has lasted. That flimsy articulating head makes me feel very skeptical. So I just purchased the 60v multi attachment one.
    Also didn’t like the motor at the head making it too heavy.
    But I do appreciate the multiple years reviews. This tool seems perfect for the active home owners or even MORE as you have proven. 🤙🏽🤙🏽🤙🏽

      Hi, may I ask how you like the 60v version? It's hard to find reviews of. Thanks 👍

      @@cRawley66 I like it! just be aware it’s not the lightest set up out there.
      I went with the 60v bc I was also interested on the blower. Man is that thing powerful!
      So besides the weight is well worth it for me. It’s very, very sturdy.

    I love this pole hedge trimmer but it stopped working. When I press the button to start it makes a weird beep and the blades won’t start. Any suggestions for that?

    • @TOOLMANTIMSWORKSHOP
      @TOOLMANTIMSWORKSHOP  Před rokem

      Could be something as simple as a herd chunk of branch it’s jammed in between or underneath one of the blades I’ve had that happen for me before and that will do that, so just check it over to make sure
