    Just FYI, the hedger attachment is sold separately but the pole saw attachment isn't. So if you want both get the pole saw and then pick up the hedger attachment. Otherwise, you will pay for two bases. If you go for the pole hedger it comes with a strap instead of the 3' extension. You can buy the extension for around $25 from DeWalt's service site.

      Where did you buy the hedge trimmer head

      Home Depot but looks like it's out of stock right now.

      What’s the code for that 3 extension?

    • @toolrev
      @toolrev  Před 3 lety

      I don't remember but you can find it through DeWalt's service and parts portal on their website. It's one of the parts available for the pole saw.

      The 3' extension is one of the parts listed for the pole saw on DeWalt's parts portal on their website. Last time I checked it was $25.

    I liked how you mentioned about must empty the oil after each use. I watched several videos and so far and you're the only one that mentioned that. I needed to hear that cause i know nothing of these.

    • @48kermit
      @48kermit Před rokem

      You shouldn't have to empty it. It's a poor design.

    Tat’s exactly why I’m here. Trying to understand if the chain flinging that much oil is normal. Thanks for the detailed video. None of the video’s I’ve seen so far has mentioned it.

    Excellent review! I bought the hedge trimmer recently and am very happy with it so far.

    Wow that's so cool I never knew they had a hedger attachment for the pole saw. I already have a DeWalt hedger so I'm going to try to hold off and buying this attachment😂

    I just bought this. Great tool, but top heavy with the sections connected. To be expected when it is 15 ft in the air. I use regular vegetable oil. It works fine. Just keep an eye on the level since it is thinner. A great design would be if the head and trigger sections could connect to convert to a 2ft chainsaw with an 8 inch bar

    1:43 a lot of "play" is because the hinge is complete junk. Now that you have had this tool for 2 yrs, has the hinge failed yet? Mine failed after a handful of uses.

    • @toolrev
      @toolrev  Před rokem

      Mine works great. Use it to groom multiple properties. Assumed the play is intentional to help it float though brush but who knows.

    Any idea when the 60V version is coming out? I haven't been able to find it yet. I need the pole saw and Hedge trimmers.

    • @toolrev
      @toolrev  Před 2 lety

      If you're talking about the 60v powerhead attachments you can get the pole saw and hedger through the buy link on DeWalt's site. Acme has them in stock.

    • @dang5025
      @dang5025 Před 2 lety

      now isn't that crazy. I was chatting on the Dewalt website asking about if they had a 60V Pole hedge trimmer and pole saw and they said not at this time. Made it sound like they where in the process of development or something. I see them. Thanks

      If you bought the pole hedger you can pick up the extension through DeWalt's service parts portal on their website. Look up the pole saw and it will be one of the parts you can order. Last time I checked it was $25.
