@@dacedaine822 Yes, I should. That was my plan when I was in MIDA, to get a posting in one of its 5 centres in Europe, so that I can explore the continent. However, I was denied, and posted to Mumbai, a city that couldn't inspire my mind to move forward in my life. It doesn't end there, I still have dreams and ambitions to explore Europe, one fine day. Latvia is certainly one of the beautiful countries in Europe. Hope to see more of you guys and Aya in Latvia. 😄

Latvia looks like a vibe bro, I’ve gotta make a trip out there and that drink that looks like a mix of coffee and Guinness looks dank
For sure brother, much more chilled then our usual spots but it’s worth it just to try the Kvass drink it’s insane 😅

It's a soft drink of Slavic origin. Massively overrated.
Visited Latvia in 1994.
3 weeks of touring the Country.
We used the superb train service which you could set your watch by as they were so punctual.
We rode horses around the forest at Sigulda and then went on the bob sleigh run.
In the summer they fit hard small wheels onto a four man bob sleigh and get sent down the run.
It was unspoilt at that time and tourism hadn’t really appeared in Latvia.
My Father in Law was visiting his home Country for 2nd time and visited 1st time in 1989.

We are visiting next year after our last visit in 1994.
It’s my Father in Laws 100th birthday next year and are going to visit the Family and pay our respects to him as his ashes were added to his Mothers grave in Riga.
I hope it hasn’t changed too much.

3. Aparjods is good, but if u want eat fast as Lido style home food ( bistro ) go to Kaķu māja ( cats house )

Austria's flag color stripes are red , latvian flag is maroon-white-maroon , and proportions are not the same width as in Austrian.

Pretty sure the color is called crimson, as in, the colour of blood.
And Latvian flag is way older, possibly the oldest in Europe.

It’s not a comparison. It’s how we refer to our gorgeous town. We explained in the video why it’s called The Switzerland of Latvia.
Every time my girlfriend have been "home" in Latvia, she brings smoked chicken wings and chicken legs back home to me, and you are absolutely right, it's very delicious.! 😁👍
