It’s crazy that this car is 14 years old and still looks and drives better than most new vehicles. Way ahead of its time
Yup i have a 2015 750 an its super clean jet black with white interior with black 20inch bmw.wheels an i can pull up next to any car even brand new cars an feel like I can't be shitted on lol...driver's in brand new cars always look at my car an give me a thumbs up ..an i tell my car " see your not so bad for a old broad , there still giving you looks out here like they did when you were brand new to me" lol
@@VitoDonatucci.jr.215ton.y2I'm checking out a 2014 750i xdrive this week. Is there anything I should lookout for? I heard 2013 and up have hardly any issues but I'm not sure.
I've had my 2013 750Li for 4 years and never had an issue until last month that results in a new engine, and I was religious with the maintenance. I thought about letting it go, but I can't do it. Love my car, hate car payments. Enough said...
My head unit is out. Any advice ?
My annoying mother in law is looking for a used car. I am gonna recommend her those used BMW 7 series. Lol.
😂😂😂
Oh man that’s cruel 😅
Bruh you may be footing the time and bill if you live near her
@@Loachie90 also true
@@Loachie90 nah I don't think so. I'll just recommend her. I won't force her. She will see the appeal of driving a big luxurious car for cheap and she may buy one. She is a snob. she is not wealthy but She likes anything that's big and luxurious.
Great video. I have a 2013 f02 sport. It's a special car. It's supposed to be a pain in the ass! I bought it out of warranty and put some money to the side. I really enjoy it period.
Very informative and I enjoy the background music I find it very zen and calming
Glad you enjoy it!
Idk how I found this page, but you are a goat my good sir
I'm humbled my friend, I'm just glad the content was valuable to you!
I am about to buy one .. and did a text drive for a 2011 model and i am amazed i found this video on my explorer in 1 hour after my drive. Very informative thank you for the video
Did you end up buying it? Please share your experience
Please do yourself a favour and don't buy this piece of shit. Your wallet will be appreciated.
I'm gonna translate from my language a common issues with F01 models written down by BMW mechanic!
Diesel engine: Valve chamber cover cracks, chain, pulley, seals, spark plug block (so far I haven't seen any faulty glow plugs), oil filter foot seals, EGR, EGR cooler, sooty intake manifold, burnt intake manifold, rotary valve motor or lever - I can't remember more at the moment, largely depends on the type of engine.
Chassis: Front and rear springs, including mudguards for the front shock absorbers, rear air shock absorbers, lower and upper wishbones in the front axle, upper wishbone bushings, front upper wishbones, front wheel bearings, bushings or leaks in the rear reducer, in the case of active steering, the rear bar (bushings swell, jam or start to squeak. Or the plastic of the position sensor breaks) and the first bar (the servo solenoid valve wears out and the steering wheel wobbles), in the case of dynamic drive, the first active stick (clatters). For 4x4 - the first drive shafts are weak (In addition to the outer rubber covers), gearbox oil, for 40d the front cardan cross. Gearbox - Oil not changed - Metal debris is formed Example or eats the bearings and you drive like an Ikarus bus Example Electronics - in the case of CA, the outer door handles are short-circuited (in the meantime, the DSC protection 5A also goes off), door locks, electronic blinds of the rear doors, plastic dowels of the rear lights are leaking water (Depending on the equipment, the SRV, EHC, EKPS modules get water - Example), vent wiring in the case of seats rub off (specific place).
The list is of consumable parts as well as standard errors that have occurred more than 3 times, so it was easier to compile it and gives an idea of F01 :)
A friend had one and tranamission went out right after the warranty expired. $12K and that was 6 years ago prices. Traded it in for an Avalon, but recently traded that in for a 760 so no lessons learned.
Jeez that’s awful, but yes I’ve noticed you just can’t help everyone.
Nice program. I own a 2012 750li with several sensor errors. Love the vehicle but expensive to maintain.
There is a 2014 750IL xdrive awd for sale in town. 107k on it. All serivce records up until it showed up on the lot have been done by bmw. Still run away? I want it, and i have a tech. But i'll likley look into a warranty IF i decide to get it.
Hey Kevin I appreciate the leasing knowledge. Sadly I wish I knew about this 4 or 5 years ago or else I could have lease a new vehicle instead of financing a used vehicle.
Yea Pre pandemic lease deals were the absolute best, I remember one individual got a $120k BMW i8 for $400 a month.
But it’s ok, I don’t necessarily want anyone to go out and do the things I mentioned, I just want people to have the knowledge and know what’s possible.
Always do what makes you comfortable
Thanks for this info 👍 I was planning on buying a 2009 750li with only 61 thousand miles. Thanks again for this info.
Its amazing car if you get one that was taken care of...Mine 730d have 450000km, only problem was with transmission (zf6) had to replace torque converter
Kevin, you need to put on and charge for a leasing masterclass. Probably wouldn’t lease because I’m old and stubborn, but I like learning new things.
haha nah my friend I can't do that there's enough people on youtube charging money for courses and things, I want to give people max value for free after all I'm no expert or guru, all the info I gained over the years is knowledge I got for free from google searching and youtube vids, I just want to compile that info for the people so they can spend less time researching. And yes I just want to open people's perspectives on what's possible, I don't necessarily want anyone to take action on this info because not everyone can take advantage of what I'm saying or might not make sense in certain situations. But thanks so much for your love and support!
Damn I was about to buy a 2013 740Li Xdrive
Kevin the inline streight 6 engines in the 7 series is it a better buy I'm looking to purchase one the car is doing 47 thousand kilos ,what is your take on tht one owner very well kept please help me 😊
It's a 750 li forgot to mention
If you want such a Car ? buy one for $ 10 - 15k with 1 year warranty, drive it 1 year and then sell it for nearly the same money you buy it and buy the next one. Thanks kevin 😀
What warranty do you recommend?
@@catlettsl100 give the dealers in the USA not a 1 year warranty for used Cars, like here in Europe ?
Yea I know what you mean my friend, a lot of dealers offer a 1 year warranty however, they typically offer a powertrain warranty only for a year, electronics, suspension, and HVAC not covered
@@MeynMotorGroup Ok Kevin, then it´s a little bit risky to buy such a Car, it can you cost many many $ on repairs if you have no luck.

Whole life policies make great sense if you purchase cars and keep them for a while. There are implications if you’re borrowing against them often.
Yea but it's gotta be the right kind of policy, if you buy some garbage from allstate, statefarm, or those regular companies, majority of your dump ins and premiums for the first 3 years goes to agent as commission, this is why Dave Ramsey yells at everyone for getting these policies.
The right policy means the agent has to take an 80-90% cut in their commission so we can win. But yes there's def some things to watch out for like if you take out max loans and never pay at least the interest accrued, it could mean that your policy can lapse and your gains in the policy can become a taxable event which is def not good.
Takes financial discipline to maintain such a policy and ideally you're someone that can put away 10k a year so the policy can work efficiently which again, not everyone can save that much in today's economy
@@MeynMotorGroup Exactly, well said. SBLOCs are often better depending on what you’re trying to purchase. For higher end purchases boats/aircraft or real estate they’re often theres more advantages to SBLOCs.
@@RossEnzo oh nice never heard of this thanks so much for sharing! I had to Google it and it is a security based line of credit based on the collateral we own, very powerful tool I appreciate you sharing this with us
Own a 2022 nx350h. Looking at a lc500 convertible or a s560 cabrio.
You will love the LC my friend
Own a 2011 760li great car doing spark plugs and coils over 140 thousand miles ,the worst are the v8 ,even class action suit stick with the v12 or 6 ,later v8s got better around 2014/2015
what about the 2012 bmw 740li?
Hi Kevin, what is your opinion on Avalon vs ES350?
Same thing just get the one that's a better deal
@@MeynMotorGroup Appreciate it Kevin!
I see one that’s 2014 with 55k miles what you think about that ?
Made a whole 23 minute video for you my friend telling you what I think about that 👍
Buy a Honda or a Toyota instead
What about 2011 550i
Just by a Lexus LS guys
Thats why i love TOYOTA
Kevin i own a camry 2021 and getting the same 2024 model😂😂😂😂 people think i am crazy
Get ready for a long list! Lol
😅 facts my friend it's too much to cover honestly these things are littered with issues that I just had to point people to the resources so they can read up for themselves all the problems
engines are this f01 series main problem..
Beep, Beep.
🫡
lol got an older one at 2012 and my interest rate is 2.9, wherever u got 12 percent is crazy😭🤣
Absolutely the worst BMW ever!!! I have a 2009 750 Li and it is a total lemon. One problem after another…
