"I have recently received a number of emails regarding my song Kill A Kitten. It seems that the lyrics have been circulating on the internet with the misunderstanding that the song is to be taken literally. As you may not know, I am a comedian and musician. I wrote the song in response to the atrocities that have been perpetrated on innocent animals. I am as repulsed by such crimes as you are, and I wrote the song to mock such acts. No intelligent person could think that harming an animal in any way could accomplish the goals stated in the song. That's the joke. I am sorry that my work has been taken out of context and used as a target for justified but misdirected anger. Animal abuse is a serious problem and we all need to work diligently to prevent it. Thank you for taking the time to write.

I have no problems with this song or video. they are both most excellent. it's funny how barely anyone has a problem with his grandpa song, but the kitten song gets heat all the time.
i cant get over how many upset people there are here. over a joke. yet they listened to the song which was clearly called kill a kitten. you knew it would be harsh just from the title. i seriously love this song. but would never ever ever hurt an animal other then for food.... im no where near the brightest person in the world but even i knew it was a frigging joke....

Killing Kittens was a hidden track on the Little bit Special CD (His first). To find it, listen to the last christopher walken rant and wait several minutes and the song will begin. However, this is some sort of rock remix Ive never heard of but want desperatly. I must find it :P.

Well, he was in 'The Wedding Singer' on Broadway. Sure it's still a goofy comedy, but there are a few serious songs. Look up 'Grow Old With You,' he has an incredible voice

This song is obviously a joke, I don't see how someone could take this song seriously. I enjoy this and hope Stephen Lynch keeps up his hilarious songwriting.
