Did that outfit come with a free Subaru Outback?
How did we go from axe reviews to belly shirts and 400 dollar jean review😂
2 words....Gavin Newsome
sellout
Eventually one runs out of material. Except for the denim apparently. 😂
Bc he’s the guy single mothers need to show their boys to teach them about life as a man
Don’t forget the stupid hats and denim cut off jackets. Next up cut off daisy dukes
'"My Ops be hating on me" I never thought I would live until this day to witness thing 🤣🤣🤣
I was dying ! Real wear coat lingo
Even the hair is starting to take on that Japanese Anime style!
Well since most can’t afford $400 jeans.. I wear round-house jeans and bibs all American clothes.. I have had great luck with them long lasting denim.. $60 for denim jeans 14 oz heavy cotton American cotton
Me too it's funny this guy doesn't mention them when they are not only affordable but 100 percent American grown and made! Round house denim rocks!😊
Big Bill jeans are good too.
Love roundhouse pants and bibs. However, Bravestar does offer quality Japanese denim, at a fairly affordable price, while completely assembling and acquiring the other items from the US. Huge fan of both but, roundhouse is most definitely often overlooked and it baffles me.
Gavin Newsome has really done a number on the west coast
And he makes fun of the east coast
Let's not forget a hairpiece and sleeveless shirts
Such pretty petite clothing. Perfect for the west coast mans inner feminine spirit. Very good.
Because you are a west coast hipster, we already know.
He aint no Norm Abrhams, thats for sure
😂 yep legit

Hes gotta look good for all of those truck stop glory holes

I don't earn much but will always try to save and buy quality items that give a little happiness every day. I enjoy thes videos, listening to the passion you have for the things you love and appreciate
Yup, it’s always better to buy quality. It doesn’t always mean expensive. I keep my wardrobe simple these days. I don’t have a lot of money, but I’ll still buy $300 jeans. I still wear a pair that’s over 12 years old
We’re you in the band the Village People?
Wranglestar we need the jorts version in your next clip pls😂😂
@@handle433Then the Peddle Pushers.
I was hoping for the Daisy Dukes.
I'm more interested in your high end wig collection. The new one looks new and expensive. 😂
The rug you are currently enjoying is not an Off-The-Rack item, This here is custom made,
He chooses them extra fluffy for the summertime
@@wranglerstardo you wash it ?
@@wranglerstar great stuff man! Need another dirtbike episode!!
He doesn't even put product in just let's the guys at the truck stop come in his hair when their done
Well at 59, I learned something about denim.
Thank you.
Eyes open.
It is 100 degrees 70% humidity. How do you stay cool in the summer with long, thick blue jeans on?
By staying in an air conditioned garage lol
And suddenly, the way you blew up the glove balloon in your last fire protection video makes sense. The blowing skills and denim jackets say a lot about west coast "men" lol
I've never seen a working man have such well looked after 💅 nails , I'm starting to worry ❤
Maybe him and his man servant have been riding the Hershey highway
I think it’s cool that you enjoy higher quality things. I’ve come to realize that concept over the years… why buy junk that you have to replace, buy quality that lasts and you can pass down.
Everybody likes what they like.
Like you said, it’s not always about what it costs, but does it give you joy?
So for raw denim, you work in it for weeks or months or years between washes so you can wear/fade a pattern of your own design into it? How do you keep from smelling like a sewer if you're working and sweating in the garments, but not washing it? Do you hose it down with febreeze every couple days or something?
The secret is 2 parts vodka and 1 part water put into a spray bottle and spritz as smell occurs.
He freezes it.
This is the most obsessive look at denim apparel that I have ever seen in my whole life.
Fascinating.
Absolutely fascinating that someone can appreciate garments this much.
I'm here to entertain you, beloved,
I agree
Those pieces are looking amazing! The sleeveless western is a boss move! Haha I also have a pretty large IH collection, I’m by no means rich, just budget my money well and buy things I enjoy.
Buy once cry once - I’ve spent so much money on shitty clothes, uppers, and optics, and ended up with the expensive reliable stuff in the end… I don’t do that anymore
But do you perform actual manual labor?
@@yogi5482 not anymore, I’ve had in interesting life of software engineer -> construction -> software product development. I shifted when I was doing construction to buy once cry once when money was tight.
@@yogi5482 Do you even labor brah?
Exactly, my family is not rich, I'm going to a though time right now and the expansive cloth and tolls i have, saved me through this situation.
There’s really no explaining the feeling of owning a high quality item that you can have for the rest of your life. They gain patina that make it akin to consistently getting something “new”. New in the sense that it’s changing in a way that reflects how YOU have used it.
To think that $400 is expensive for something you can use for decades…is backwards.
My 940 is 20 years old. Same color as yours, (mine has the purple spine) but dude, the 940 imprint on your jacket is the coolest thing ever.
Look at that 940 wear mark. Now that’s cool!
I love it when you talk about and share things you're passionate about. Hell I even went and looked at buying my own denim. But your hobby just aint for me yet!
Looks like something my little sister wore in the eighties
We’re making 100%American made selvedge denim here in Vidalia Louisiana on iconic Draper x3 looms. A lot of hard work went into getting Vidalia mills up and running. SUPPORT AMERICAN MADE!
Amen!
I've tried a few pairs of cheaper raw denim jeans over the years from brands like Naked and Famous and Nudies and they always just fell apart too quickly. Was looking into getting a pair of Samurais or Iron Hearts recently and seeing how Iron Heart holds up for you is making me want to pull the trigger.
Very sharp!
I’m a big fan of Wrangler, the 47 series jeans and denim jacket. They do show the marks of personality. You can still see my Leatherman Free P4 even when it isn’t in my jeans. The details matter.
I wash mine fairly normally however.
Enjoyed the video
My opps be hatin lol that's amazing
Now we just need someone to make denim underwear that'll never have to be washed
I couldn’t wear clothes for months without washing. It’s not my thing I wear clothes once and wash them.
My wife dried one of my ironheart flannels, shrunk it beyond what I can wear. She learned what not to do with them and now my 14yo has his first ironheart shirt. Love this stuff, great content
$400 jeans but doesn't wear shoes? That makes a whole lot of sense. Must be a West Coast thing.
Well, I'm not going to pay 400 bucks for a pair of jeans for work, because my job is ruthless on clothes, but that doesn't mean I don't appreciate what you have going on with your Iron Heart collection. I wear Prison Blues, and like that they're USA made (that's a big deal for me). It's also nice that they're inexpensive, but wear amazing. Someday, I might just have to buy a pair of Iron Heart for my going to town jeans. They do look spiffy.
yeah id love to have those same pants but i work with ink and solvents so they'd be looking like a rainbow in 6 months and at a year probably completely black lol have to be fancy pants for me as well
I prefer all American southern cotton spun in a cotton gin and picked by the calloused hands of slav... Nevermind. Great vid.
There's something magical about how high quality items wear and age over time. Gorgeous collection. It tells the story of one's life.
About to be $400 jorts 😂
Next video, the west coast man’s guide to the best mani-pedi 😂 j/k, to each his own.
Looking like your here to fix the cable
I can appreciate the quality of these products; probably built with pride and definitely not throwaway garbage. these jackets will last longer than the man and his son will be able to enjoy them someday.
Iron heart makes amazing stuff. They last a lifetime and when you factor cost per wear they are very reasonable. That said for those who wish to pay a bit less start with bravestar selvage. Made in America. They are high quality selvage denim. They make double front jeans as well and they are tanks. All for about 140 bucks.
can never go wrong with iron heart, i skate in there 14oz straight cut, comfiest jeans ive worn
You can't beat great denim! I've always had a pair of RMWilliams denim trousers and they age better than I do. Definitely heirloom denim.
It should be illegal in the bro code to be that in to clothing. My brain just melted.
Cody your the best “ my ops be hating on me” 😂😂
Something in the West Coast water has made you think that Japanese jeans are somehow worth paying that much for. Perhaps Dearborn Denim can give you some USA made jeans for your next infomercial.
love the channel! prayers to you and yours.
USA jeans are made by slave labor in the East, what a stupid muppet you are,
@@wranglerstar hope you are hanging in there with the wildfires - the huckleberry short sounded like a good reprieve for you today.
Unfortunately, US selvedge denim came to a close in 2018 with the closing of Cone Mills White Oak factory.
I love the story that raw denim can tell over time. And at a higher cost and awesome quality, imho it makes repairs worth it to continue the story and keep on wearing it. 15 years and 3-4 crotch blowouts and a pocket blowout later, it STILL feels higher quality than mass produced jeans. It's a shame since Cone Mills denim easily gave Japanese denim a run for the money.
I have 3 pairs of IH jeans, an IH horsehide jacket, the 16oz slubby type 3, and oiled N1 in olive, an IH hoodie in olive, and the kersey western shirt in indigo. They’re all wonderful and I enjoy living my life in them. I’m waiting on the day that they release a new western UH flannel that I can’t resist.
Where do you buy your iron heart?
Where do you buy your double front iron heart jeans from?
We all pick and choose our hobbies and what we choose to do...I get to wear and meet other people who are into this, and it's just a very fun thing that really appeals to me. Every time I put it on and wear it and enjoy it, it makes life more fun.
Can't wait to view the transition videos.
Weatherwool is my weakness clothing wise, it's awesome wool.
Is he leaning in to the rug, as a bit? lol
Love it.
My rustlers cost $15 at wal mart. I cut logs and firewood I buck 1000 bales of hay each year dig my irrigation ditches and work 40-60 hours a week at my job. My jeans hold up great. The only expensive things I buy are my carhart t shirts. I can’t spell carhart. $18 each. Last 4 years wearing them twice a week each.
I have been interested in getting some iron heart but no one stocks them in Austin. It would be such a hassle to have to buy a bunch and return the ones that don't fit. Not to mention the cost of buying a bunch of styles and sizes to see what will fit well. If I ever find my self visiting someplace that stocks them I will likely try it on.
What I did was measured a pair of jeans that I had and that fit the way I like. Then I got on iron heart and looked at their size chart and ordered a pair that was closest in size. Keep in mind that denim shrinks and stretches over time so the measurements won't be exact between your favorite and new IH. My jeans was close in size to the IH-888 so that's what I ordered and they fit great
Cody about 2 years ago you did a wardrobe video of 10 matching levi’s shirts that you so you could wear the same outfit every day
There’s something overwhelmingly comforting about a man expressing his passion for niche hobbies that others might find “feminine”. Thank you for sharing
A guy that wears a rug modeled after Justin Bieber in 2010, and wears $400 jeans... Yeah he's one of us...
Working on power lines I would ruin a pair of jeans completely in two weeks and boots would only last 3 months. So breaking in denim is such a crazy thing to say to a working man 😂
Just came back from Japan this summer and bought two pairs of d’artisans ! I’m so excited and been wearing them ever since I got back NO WASHES
What’s wrong with buying good quality clothes! They are beautiful items.
Here in Middle America where heat hits hard, your clothes would be discusting if you wore them 3 days in a row without washing. Sweat stank and sweat stains would ruin your denim for sure.
I can appreciate your appreciation of finely crafted products.
The Proho is never caught underdressed 👌
Japanese denim is actually a very underrated material
Not in my house,
Just bought some Filson double front jeans on sale. $112
Just brought my first pair of iron hearts. The 18oz 777s. Had them a couple weeks. Wear em to work and on the bike. Love them
Because company that makes probably sent a few pairs gratis for a review. And they are probably great jeans.
If you can afford it, go for it. I wish I could. I make do with Wrangler jeans. They hold up well enough for me. Usually get 4-5 years out of a pair with heavy use. Sometimes more. Haven’t bought a pair since before 2020.
Quailty Jeans are best working/living tool we have.
My sister has that identical outfit
I just learned that denim doesn’t have anything to do with blue cotton jeans. I’m sure you know that it’s the weaving pattern. One over and two or three under. Very cool.
My favorite denim piece is my grandfathers Wrangler wool lined jacket. When he passed in 2004, my grandmother let me have. There are so many scratches, burn marks, and wear marks and hope my son will one day add to them like i am.
I dig it! Thanks for sharing. ❤
The up front cost over the lifetime use makes the investment brilliant. 👊🏻🏆💖
Ordered my first prison blues not the same but still looking forward to some cool faded jeans
Good product, are they still made on the inside to wear on the outside?
Yes sir but how can you tell the difference between an inmate and a politician the inmate actually makes something useful
@@wyatthammond9842 Congrats! I really dig the double front, but the dark dark wash wasn’t my thing, but seeing how nicely Wranglerstars have faded I’m down for a pair.
@@deleteddata6671 only problem is they take 3 weeks to ship. But they have olive double and regular front as well as blue and black. I didn't get the rinsed I got the darker ones
The way you explain your passion for quality denim and how it's a hobby to you is how I feel about my vintage leather jacket collection. Not all of them are actually vintage but I have 2 thick horsehide military A-2 jackets that are only a few years old but are cut from a WW2 contractors pattern, I'm still breaking them in. And then there's the two '60s era Lesco leather cafe racer jackets among others. It's a fun hobby but I haven't bought another one in probably 3 or 4 years, it gets expensive. I still don't own any of the premier leather jackets from say Schott, Lost Worlds, Aero Leathers, etc etc, but hopefully one of these days. Those are some high dollar leathers.
It’s the Ben Stiller look from Dodgeball.
That trucker's jacket with black dye is going to look fantastic when the blue starts coming through.
If I’m not mistaken, the 14 ounce 526 here is indigo black indigo warp with a black sulfur dyed weft I don’t think it’s completely overdyed but I could be wrong
I buy cheap denim, but I'm jelly! That's nice stuff!
Cody, all of your IH pieces are great. Thank you for sharing my friend. God bless you
At work now. So I will have to watch later. But how would they hold up in a humid environment? 105° mill sweat.
Very interesting, this is something I really know very little about. I collect and restore diecast cars myself which has less utility.
I love the way Cody is such an epic troll. In the YT algorithm, any like or dislike are engagement and every comment, positive or negative figures even more prominently.
Respect, Wrangler. I don't spend my money that way on jeans and jackets, but if I could I would. I appreciate and love the real reason for this video because I, too, love to spend my hard earned cash on the highest of quality (that I can afford) aligning with my interests and hobbies. I like this video because it says "this is for me not you". That's exactly the way I feel the things I love
One day I will be able to afford a iron heart jacket
My iron heart literally just came in the mail today. It was you who inspired the purchase, and I am seriously impressed with the quality. Thanks Wranglerstar!
Yea he is a spokesman for them
I buy $20 Walmart wranglers and they last just fine I don’t think I’ve spent $400 total on jeans in last 7 years
It's all about that
I get the fizz admiring well made clothes too.
Nice stuff. There’s something to be said about buy once, cry once. I hate clothes shopping. For jeans I stick with Ariat m5s, I gotta have flexibility and movement. Jean jackets are very underrated work gear, I grab old ones I find. In Texas, there not much of a season for thick denim, so Carhartt jackets reign supreme in the winter, preferably US made ones.
I’ve never seen a trucker wear them. Been trucking for 40 years. West Coast Man 🙄
Since you do minimal washing, what do you use to keep these pieces of art from wreaking?
Eat clean non processed food, drink water, and you won't be near as stinky,
You have such a skill to stay on track impromptu.
This Midwest man understands $400 jeans in principle - even if they aren't in my budget. I do not, however, understand what the deal is with the "fades". But...I'm glad you're enjoying them.
Character! Like a leather jacket that slowly molds to your body, and gets a unique patina based on the experiences you’ve encountered while wearing it. These heavier weight raw denims express your own personal wear through the fading patterns. Each garment ends up being completely unique to the wearer. It’s not for everyone. It absolutely isn’t meant to be for everyone. But some of us enjoy being able to see things change with us over time. There’s always a story to be told with raw denim.
The Best in the World, when it is Useful, is Simply the Best. You are Smart!
I have a pair of 21oz Iron Hearts i love them but havent gotten to wear them much been way to hot. But looking forward to it cooling down so i can put some work into them. Love the video take care Sir
I'm into clothes that doesn't require child labor.
As always love the content.
Then you would enjoy Japanese quality
Because you have the money and can. Enough said. Most of us can’t afford these “luxuries”. We wear regular and hard word molds them. To each their own!
I’m in South Louisiana….there is no way I could wear something daily for 6 months before washing it. It would reek.
Stick it in the freezer, the cold kills the bacteria, and therefore smell, helps me when on mission work in areas without washing machines, learned this off of a biker in western nepal.
@@nathaniels4667 smart man. I’ve tried the freezer technique with leather boots and achieved mixed results. The humidity down here is insane.
That “shirt” looks amazing
