This show had a very interesting concept that was pretty novel at the time: talking to random people in public. Hear normal people talk about random things in 1939!

I'm six decades old now and have been listening to OTR ever since my WWII Vet father and I drove past the home of the great comedy duo Jim and Marion Jordan in Illinois. My father explained who they were and that their show 'Fibber McGee & Molly' was one of the most popular comedy programs in America. Back in the 1980s, WBBM had an OTR contest, the winner received a complete box set of their shows, and yours truly won! (it was the only contest I had ever won) Anyway, thank you, again! ( BTW., *$1 in 1939 is equivalent in purchasing power to about $20.23 in 2022!* )

On the other hand, a town is an urban area with a larger area than a village but smaller than a city.
