Chicago World's Fair (1933-1934) Footage Compilation

This is as much public domain footage as I could find about the Chicago World's Fair, held in 1933-1934. My grandmother actually went to the fair when she was a child and I have some photos of her there, but it's interesting to see what else she would have seen there.

My great-grandparents (both born in 1895) attended this Worlds Fair. I remember a big brass key that was their souvenir, and them telling me how fun it was. So cool for me to see this footage, thanks for posting.

Incredible footage! I imdb'ed those actors. 😂 Oh wow, and at 6:46 you can see a Cafe du Monde set up in the back!! (famous here in Louisiana).

Just finished a book that is based on the times of Chicago's World's fair, and was curious to see the era.
The book is "True Detective" by Max Allan Collins.
