Hope you guys enjoyed this video and it’s cheesy sound effects haha! I spent about 5 weeks on this vid and I’m pretty happy with how it turned out. I’ll try to post more often! Have a nice week!
Four Speed Films u should have came to Kentucky for holly ford fest. It was a blast.
best tutorial car vid ive every seen. very cool to see all the steps !
I like your your videos! I have a 68 Fastback and looking for ideas. Excellent videography! Cheers
LiT video! Even down to the droplet sound effect of that single drop of brake fluid, lol.
So..my bro & I put a front disc brake conversion kit in our 440 powered '70 Fury Gran Coupe, F8 green.
And (despite approx. 4 million yrs experience with old cars between us) they..aren't working very well.
Can't even lock up the tires on wet roads. Yeah..
We have the required vacuum & it is a stock cam engine..the booster checks out..bled the system twice, 2nd time offered no change, no extra bubbles, no improvement...
We have no idea.
It is not a Wilwood kit, it is a quality US made kit, Kelsey Hayes 60's style looking copies, not unlike yours. 4 pistons calipers.
The only old part in the entire front system is the distribution block..so that has to go.
Weird, though.
..might use the booster & MC out of a ''00 Durango & see what happens, if a new dist. block does not fix things.
I loved the fast forward effect as well as the sound effects. Great job.
Love how humble and honest you are; it's great to see someone with true passion for classic American muscle and willing to learn on the job and share your experiences with the CZcams viewers. Superb editing and look forward to following your progress on CZcams but life as well. Excellent work.
Much appreciated!
Editing was so good! Enjoyed the little sounds when working on the car. She’s looking good!
Thanks!
love your editing and your sounds as you work on the car.
Thanks!
When I did my brakes on my 67 Mustang, I did a few panic stops. Make or break it!
If you decide against rear discs (really aren't necessary on street driven cars) I upgraded to Grand Torino station wagon drums, backing plates and shoes on my 67 Mustang. This way you can run larger shoes and finned drums.
Nice!
The editing and unique vehicles are what puts this channel over the top. I love seeing another young guy work on and drive unique vehicles. I am jealous of the Californian weather from up here in Canada lol
Great editing... I think I caught a glimpse of Dad grinning a few times when you nailed the throttle. Great video. Keep up the good work and don't be afraid to wear those gloves to protect your hands.
My 65 blew a wheel cylinder one night, lost my brakes and coasted it into a post office. Just happened to have enough parts to rebuild it in trunk LOL! Awesome video, best I've seen!
Damn! Much appreciated!
Good job Ben,best satisfaction is working on your own car.
I love the videos that include your dad! I wish he had his own channel and uploaded as frequently as you!
Great video Ben. Love seeing your passion and learning as you go; you seem like a really down to earth person. Your dad should be proud of the man he raised.
Much appreciated!
Just got my 68 back! Your vids got me pumped to get back on it and be working on it 🙏👌🏼
I liked how you don't have any fancy lift and you kept it real with what you had problems with. The brakes look great on your car. Looking forward to more videos.
Love this video man! I’m buying a 65 coupe this weekend and I plan to buy a brake kit from these guys after watching this video! They seem like solid guys with a great product
This is the first video ive watched from you and my gawd! It was great! First time I watched a vid from start to finish with no pauses. I actually liked the sound effects! It gave me Home Improvement vibes haha. But yeah, totally earned a new subscriber if these are the types of vids you’re putting up
Much appreciated!
I loved all the effects! It was a very detailed video. Loved all the step by step sped up and bedding of brakes! Biggest new fan and subscriber! Love when you bring in your dad. Would love to hear more about your dad and his hot rods and bug!
We appreciate how much work goes into these videos man!
Thanks for the support!
He actually just slid his pads into his caliper. My whole life is a lie
On most normal calipers, you undo one bolt and the top half pivots up.
Max Sjöberg I just take the caliper off and then clip on the brake pads, I never thought of just taking out the top bolt
Good work man...I did the same job...lots of knuckle scrapes and cursing but well worth it compared to drums
Thanks and hell yeah!
Fantastic!
Damn I think it's so awesome for you to get this channel going so you get some sponsors!!
AND you do such a great video about it that I'am certain that wilwood are happy to sponsor👌
Congratulations!
Much appreciated!
Thank you for sharing this videos! I am about to purchase my first Mustang (65´) and this helps me a lot to sort things out. Subscribed!
Great video, I know it takes time to work and create at the same time! I can tell you love what you do, keep it up! It will turn into so much more down the road! No punn intended. 😂 I'll be installing a brake kit on a 66, that's how I found you and glad I did! 😊👍
Keep it up! Love the content and it’s well learning experience
Nice upgrade, Wilwood look slick on the Mustang. Btw the wheels and stance really hit it.
Thanks!
Good upgrade! Love your car, so much better than the newer ones, very cool car!
Great video, I appreciate you young cats working on these old cars! We need more like you!
Thanks
Putting that grease sounds funny LOL
Haha!
I did a disc conversion on my 67 last year. I agree the master cylinder lines were a big pain in the butt.
Nice! My video made it look easy but I probably spent 2 full days just working on the brake lines. I didn’t know I needed a special wrench for them and I had to replace all my brake lines😂
@@FourSpeedFilms Yaa, line wrench, bc the fittings are brass, real soft compared to steel.
Awesome video and the sound effects were a nice touch!
Awesome Video. Definitely one of my favorite if not my favorite channel on youtube. Make more videos pleaseeee
Thanks for the support! Will do!
What a great improvements I did this on my 57 and the world of difference it makes. Good luck with the proportioning valve.
Thanks and nice!

Hey man i just came across your channel i really dig it i like the work you do on your mustang i would like to see more videos on that well my piece of advice i could give you is keep up the work and the filming because people are watching and your keeping the pony era running we appreciate that
Much appreciated!
Love the quality of the vids and its totally worth the wait! keep up the awesome stuff and i hope the knuckles heal up alright XD
Much appreciated!
Very well produced. This is the kind of production classic Mustangs deserve!
Much appreciated!
Now that's how to shoot one of these videos. You didn't stop to explain every detail and you sped up thru the wrenching. But you did stop and explain the steps, great job. Great video others could learn from this.
Much appreciated!
Great vid and quick tip: thread the lines into the master cylinder before your do a final tightening on the master to booster nuts. Leaving it a little lose will allow you to wiggle everything around to make getting the lines started just that much easier.
Glad to see u back with the videos really did miss them but u came back with a strong video. Got me thinking about brakes now for my car can’t trust the 30 year old stock ones no more.
Thanks!
The Wildwood brakes look awesome on your Mustang, Ben. Congrats!
Much appreciated!
Awesome video, great editing as well!
Thanks dude!
My 1967 Mercury Cougar has the factory non-powered 4 wheel drums and I've always really liked them. Extremely smooth & responsive with a lot of stopping power. The car is all original, 45,000 miles, so I'll never do anything aftermarket to it. When the original owner ordered it new in 1967 he also had the dealership install dual exhaust with glasspacks, so that part isn't factory but the 289 + 3spd on the floor sounds great so I'm glad he did that. However I've owned several other old cars with 4 wheel drums and I never had a problem with them. I had a 1962 Corvair Spyder, factory turbocharged air cooled flat 6. It had 4 wheel drums and didn't even include the self-adjusters from the factory. You had to manually adjust them.
Awesome video, the sounds effects are great during the sped up steps.
Thanks!
As usual. Great vid :)
Thanks Ben!
Thanks!
Very nice job! As others have said, I enjoyed the sound effects.
Ryan.
Much appreciated

Great video Ben. Awesome job and really enjoyed this video. On a side note I got the 331 stroker and t-5 into my 84 ranger finally :)
Thanks and awesome!
I don't even want to know how many hours you have in just the sound design alone in this video. I love all your stuff man!
oh it was awful
run that prop valve into the car bro for adjustment when the fuel tank gets emptyer as you fly
Love the sound effects.
Thanks!
Videos like this are pretty cool
Man been waiting for this vid for a while
Waited so long for a video ❤️

Another awsome and informative video Ben 👌🏽 thanks going to look at wildwood for a 64 front disk brake package
Much appreciated! That would be sick!
Major upgrade! I'm rocking 4 wheel drums which will eventually do to discs. Nice vid!
Thanks!
Nice job. I like the Bullitt color on your car and the 32 Milner coupe, looks cool.
the sound effects remind me of the old street rodder two computer game i played as a kid :)
Haha! I’m not familiar with that game
@@FourSpeedFilms its called street rod 2 its on you tube :)
Great job on the video. Excellent wrenching too.
The Sound Effects are just so funny 😂
Damn son, editing level is on Hagerty style. I like this even better because sound effects.

Great vid bro! I’m workin on a 65 myself and I am installing the same brake kit. What grease did you use for the bearings?

Dude's sound effects have me dying 😂 I love it man
Haha!

I know the feel with school man! I haven't touched my Mustang in weeks, if anything you're doin a lot better than I am! Lol
It’s pretty sad🏁
Ayeee welcome back!
Thanks!
finally new studs haha great video Ben! 😎
We had some bad experiences with those darn studs lol! Thanks dude
@@FourSpeedFilms yeah lmao btw you should run the proportion valve through the dash so you could adjust while driving!
wilwood - im getting me a set next week.
Congratulations for the video.
I would like to ask a question, do you think that this new kit from wilwood has more advantages than if it were a brand new original OEM. You notice a big difference in braking with this kit?
I have power brakes on my 67 mustang, but I need to change the calipers and my question is whether with these calipers from Wilwood I will notice improvements over new originals.
Best Regards
I just Like to lay in my bed AND Watch ur videos working on stang keep IT up💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻
i like your work, nice car, nice project... your american muscle is the best for me
Thanks
