All the videos show copper traces on the top and bottom with nothing in-between. I assume you have thick copper layers for every one to allow for much greater current. Even so, how do the PCB layers compare to wound coils in magnetic flux by volume?
past 9 layers on a multilayer PCB and the prices starts going up VERY VERY fast. Cost aside to do something practical, you have the problem of the limitations in non-conductive layer thickness of pcb fabrication. You need to get the PCB inductors much closer together to gain enough inductance for large amounts of torque. The only way to achieve this is with 3d inkjet printers, which are currently prohibitive expensive. They start at something like $80,000 USD and go up from there. Of course you can go down to about 160nm layer line width and maybe 50nm thick. The company i'm working for , MakerMade CNC is going to begin design on an affordable inkjet printer (Sub $3,000 USD) to get the tools in the hands of innovators that want to take this tech to the next level.
Honestly NO, plus they usually dont respond to your query and if by mistake they do then their monopoly in pricing is ridiculous, have to order minimum units that you'll get after 6 months. Have to find an alternative for this to break their monopoly
