- The UK has one of the hardest driving theory tests in the world, as it covers more than just the rules of the road. There are one thousand five hundred possible questions, taken from these three books. They include a wide range of background knowledge, so even an experienced driver would need to revise before taking the test. hi please I need a driving lessons.
Just passed my theory test yesterday. Multiple choice 48/50 (96%) and Hazard perception: 56/75 (74.67%). My advice in HP section would be, don’t click 5 times quickly. Try and space them around 0.5 of a second. Just hit it around 3 to 4 times of a developing hazard. I got zero points for 1st question as I clicked 5 times in quick succession. So a wasted 5 points really. Also remember there will be 2 developing hazards in one of the clips. Best of luck to everyone.

I am happy for you, congratulation I have been in this country for 4 months now took the test twice my first score was 41 my second was 42. Back home in the Caribbean I don’t see so much signs but I have been driving for years, I do think my next attempt I will pass it because I have been reading and watching lots a Videos and constantly doing the Mac test to keep my brain refreshed.

Passed mine 2days ago it’s easy even hazard just study everyday and u will understand they’re 40 questions that u learned from dvsa app and 10 unknown that u never done just study everytime so u understand everything

I've been drving for 40 years and other is so much I don't know. Also driving in Citys and London congestion charges . Looking for parking options. Finding if roads are free from work. Driving an electric vehichal and charging time with parking restrictions. I am glad Advance driving school is keeping me uptodate.

I got 3/10, but I learned a lot.
One major hazard is turning the steering wheel to the right whilst waiting to complete a right turn across a road. If you are hit from the rear whilst waiting you will be propelled into oncoming vehicles and if this is an HGV it could be curtains for you.
Absolutely. I always keep the wheel straight while waiting to turn right for that very reason.

Got 8/10, guessed the not changing lanes one.
You can't memorise everything though, there's tables of penalties and fines in the highway code, don't see how you can memorise it all.

Probably not - as the DVSA is only here in Great Britain. Ireland has its own licensing authority, and would have their own theory test and reference material. Good luck 🤞🏼

I did cruise control today and I did ok still doing ok but little things teacher said noting serious cause he doesn't say that and doesn't stop for me and parell parking I did ok but for some reason I'm not getting as close but he said that but it will do still a pass ill still watch I'll also watch cruise control one

Why are there questions on emissions, this is a driving test not an environmental test. Same applys on first aid questions.
Knowing how to drive more efficiently, and how to save someone’s life is all part of being a good driver.
@@AdvanceDrivingSchool What a load of rubbish. Why then do you not tell people to walk as it save emissions. Stick to the act of Driving not pushing someone social engineering pov.

@@paralogregt I agree about the emissions, but knowing how to treat a person that is injured is always a good thing.
@@paralogregt The theory test actually does have questions where the answer is to walk for short journeys. However, I'm pretty sure this emissions statistic is not on the official test.

None of these questions were in a test. Rubbish
Most apps you use don't have the exact questions in the test, they're worded differently on purpose.
Also you have to realize you only have to answer 50 questions from a possible 700 or so? Not sure the exact number
So, many questions not about actually driving. What the hell has emissions, and survival of pedestrians got to do with your ability to drive? If this is the sort of area they are putting more and more emphasis on, then it's no wonder the standard of drivers these days is so bad.
If you think pedestrian survival isn't important to drivers you are the problem mate
Knowing that 95% of pedestrians survive a collision at 20 mph, compared to 80% at 30 and 50% at 35 should be a good reminder to everyone that the 20 speed limits are there for a reason.
So why are you young/new drivers so crap at driving??
So were you when you first passed your test. So is everyone.
