    Sounded like Greg was a little salty when Fancy mentioned bringing in Andy to talk to the suspect. 😂

    By the way, congratulations on the 30 year badge. We are all proud of you my Brother. It's a struggle every day, no doubt.
    I can see why Andy is popular here. He is probably the best representation of what a struggling and recovering alcoholic looks like on television.
    We are all here for you and cheering you and all the others here on. GOD BLESS, to all my friends on this channel.

    As much as Fancy dislikes having Andy around, sometimes it’s useful to have an attack dog to do the dirty work.

      @mikegraber6393 Pƙed 2 lety +13

      I don’t think Fancy disliked having him around at all. Andy was a closer. He closed his cases better than anyone and that makes Fancy’s precinct stats better. Sure Fancy didn’t like him as a person but it’s like having a great player on your bball team who is also a jerk and you can’t stand him. You put that aside when the balls in play and you don’t grab a beer afterwards.

      Fancy doesn't dislike Andy, he just had some basic respect boundaries. Drunk on Duty, Bigotry affecting workplace,, etc. From almost the very beginning, he made it clear he acknowledged Andy's talent.

    Greg should know by now that Andy's interrogation style has a proven track record.

      There was an episode where Greg tried Andy's more physical approach. It was when he was working with Martinez. It didn't work so well.

    • @kevinsullwold2388
      @kevinsullwold2388 Pƙed 18 dny

      True but a few episodes after this, there's a suspect who hardens up against Andy and Greg is able to get through to him and get a confession because of the softer approach.

    This is how the public hopes real police detectives operate. To what extent does art reflect reality? No idea, but at least the police were provided this artistic example to strive for.
