Navigating the UK Social Care system at the point when you or a loved one needs care can be complex and disheartening, at what’s already a difficult time. In this video I will outline the process you need to follow and explain what’s involved at each stage.
There are 3 key steps:
1. Establish your needs
2. Complete a financial assessment (means test)
3. NHS Continuing Health Care eligibility
4. Claim state benefits
5. Seek financial advice

For the start register your self with SWE
Needs to be clearer that CHC funds continuing HEALTH CARE not SOCIAL CARE costs.

I have a deploma in welfare work an i have been still six years working in as a family welfare worker in papupolation department so i offer to my self working in uk so plz helo me
I got here as my clinic or adult services never assess me they say no everything. Have adhd and others amd zero family. I habe been stuck in my flatt fkr 5 years for physical disability been suicidal and executibr functiom is bad. Now duty socisl workers laugh at me or humilate me ovet yhe phonr.
