The channel is based in NYC, and in NYC a lot of apartments don't even have kitchens. It seems obvious to a lot of us, but if I didnt have a kitchen I probably wouldnt know how to do a lot of the stuff they show on the channel

Fast food, microwave food. Think about how expensive land value is, and how much room a kitchen takes up. Then multiply that by everyone in the apartment complex having one. It is often just cheaper to get food from somewhere than it is to have a kitchen. But I am not from NYC, just know some people who live in parts of it.

I had no idea there were people buying Frozen diced onions until now, how is that an option? They must be terrible and tasteless when they thaw. Actually, everyone has all the same tools. It's just that some don't know and use a butter knife because they have that at home.
Frozen veggies tend to be better than the "fresh" produce you see in stores. Properly frozen vegetables retain a lot of taste and nutrients (most companies freeze soon after harvest), as long as they are properly stored, as well as taking out the prep work from cooking. Also you don't have to wait for frozen onions to thaw, just throw them in the pan and they'll cook like an unfrozen onion.
Chel: I know a person that does that, he buys potato wedges, precut garlic and so on. that person also complains about the shop is is buying at being so expensive..... of course, when he buys potato wedges for 6€/kg instead of buying the potatoes for 0.99€/kg.

If you don't want to cry while cutting onions, wet your knife blade, and wet the onion. Sprinkle some water on your cutting board too. The water will react with the gas released by the onion, and it won't reach your eyes.

fakecubed at my old job I use to cut buckets worth of onions and I never cried. My trick was just not blinking as much and not putting my face directly at the onion, arms reach basically and it worked, yet again everyone cried and I thought they were weak lol

Even this instructors technique could use some work. Cut off the stem, correct, but face that towards you and have the knife go perpendicular to it, and put light pressure on top with a couple fingers, then do a quick slice 2 or 3 times depending on the onions size. The reason for the light pressure and a quick slice is that it creates less friction/resistance letting the blade cut through much easier and faster. Oh and ALWAYS, always do the 2-3 horizontal cuts first, then the vertical cuts. (I'm a chef, hehe).
i'm sorry but when i read this i don't get anything different from what the chef in the video did, maybe just my understanding with words, care to explain more?
Sure! He has his knife parallel to his "stem cut" when making his horizontal cuts, essentially pushing most of his blade into the onion, making a sawing motion. Lots of friction, lots of resistance, which is why in fact he makes a sawing motion. If he had turned the onion 90 degrees, and used 1 slicing motion from one side to the other, it would have cleanly made a quick slice, no sawing action needed. Another reason for the sawing motion is how much pressure he is putting on the top of the onion. Simply face that "stem cut" towards your body, then quickly slice from right to left(or left to right, depending on what hand holds the knife). That also depends on the shape of what you're trying to dice. Hope this helps. If needed, I can link some really great video reference for what I'm talking about.

Please provide the reference video you mentioned. His knife is perpendicular to the "stem cut" not parallel, and the rest of your description is confusing based on that initial mistake.
