I'm glad she's a genius, but has flaws, like she though police work is like those in the TV shows. Especially in the interrogation scene.

If some of you understand french you should watch the original french series « HPI : Haut Potentiel Intellectuel » with Audrey Fleurot playing the character of Morgane Alvaro, she’s amazing !
I’m not gonna judge since I haven’t watched the American remake but in my opinion the original French series will always be the best one

@@aldakendall4921 Hello, the French show is available on TF1 + using a VPN location in France. Note that season 4 is divided in two parts due to writers strike. The second part of season 4 will be airing in France in the fall so they have enough time to wrap the last episodes of the season. So as of now you’ll find only the 4 first episodes of Season 4 of HPI on TF1 + 😉

It looks like a sanitized / lot less fun version than the original French tv show... which is a shame, given that the main character's mild insanity is the show's main asset, even before the high potential 😮
I've never seen the original, but Kaitlin is known for pushing boundaries with her comedy on Always Sunny and her other projercts. Her other network show called The Mick had some jokes I was shocked to see get past the censors. I'm not impressed by this 30 second trailer, but I'm still willing to see how Kaitlin Olson does with this material. With her on as a producer, I assume this will be be a little different than the typical type of detective show.

It s based of a French tv show, called HPI, the show is very popular in France here, it literally breaks record every time they air it on TF1. But you know, American will not watch anything that’s non-American.
There is a Greek TV show which premiered last year based on the french series too!!!
Well The Floor on FOX is non-american and that did great. So this can be too.
I've watched enough to know that French sci fi is weird and French comedy just sucks.

Since this show was suppose to air last fall but got pushed back a year due to the strikes. I have a feeling the final show is going to look a lot different from this trailer

Normally I’d think this was kinda twee, but Kaitlyn Olsen will probably keep this character funny and interesting.

Looks good, but mixed feelings about the solving murders thing. Conan O'Brien has an IQ of 160 and James Woods is 180, but I wouldn't expect them to solves crimes.
Oh look, it's a show about an eccentric genius who doesn't play well with others, and their adventures helping the police solve crimes. We've NEVER seen that before!

I’m sorry I know this show hasn’t premiered yet but I hope this show is ACTUAL CRIME DRAMA and not a comedy crime, im sorry but no. For example big sky that show was very good and even though this is based on a French series and made by a different creator than big sky, I really do want it to be a good show, because it really looks like lately they have been turning crime drama really friendly and with the less drama and that’s what I like in a show so I hope it’s good

Don't just take a teaser trailer for granted. You can't see what the series is really about. I think the way the investigations are staged will surprise a lot of people.
@@darkshao51 the whole point of a trailer is to show what the show or movie is about lol. Maybe it'll be good, IDK, but this looks pretty bad based on this trailer alone.
@@actualnotanewbie It's a "teaser", so just an introduction to the series. You don't really see how the series is going to be structured, or how it's going to approach the investigation part. You haven't even seen a quarter of what the main character is really like. The main interest of the series is to show how her crazy mind works. And we haven't seen any of that in this teaser trailer.
@@darkshao51 Also, every show Kaitlin has been apart of has been great (Always Sunny, The Mick, Curb Your Enthusiasm, Hacks). I'm not going to disregard everything she's done for a shitty 30 second teaser. I imagine this show will have a lot more depth and there's some creative minds behind it in Drew Goddard (Cabin In The Woods) and Rob Thomas (Veronica Mars). Kaitlin is also a producer and when she was a producer on The Mick, she said she would constantly try to get them push the boundaries as far as they could for a network show. I imagine she'll be the same with this.
@@tonyjurkas2791 Exactly! And above all, I think this version will sublimate the original version because it will benefit from a bigger budget and better showrunners. I can't wait to see how they will portray the crazy mind of the heroine. In the original version, there's a lot of visual effects and wacky staging (but in a good way). Her explanations when solving investigations are always enlivened by visual sequences that illustrate her proofs. This leaves plenty of room for creativity on the part of the showrunners, writers and directors working on this version.
