- Today we are fishing a benefit tournament on Orange Lake in one of my favorite places on the lake in McIntosh Bay the hydrilla is thick just how I like it and it always holds fish just got to be able to hunt the giants down because they are there!!!

Thanks man I really appreciate that I can't remember what my biggest is on Orange Lake I believe it was close to 6 lbs I did just upgrade my pb though on Watermelon Pond it weighed 9.96 lbs caught her on bed I thought it was like 5 lbs before I put it in the canoe it grew a whole lot when i caught it and weighed it lol

That 15 lbs mono and hydrilla can trick ya at least it was bigger than your "giant" 2 pounder you needed me to net that one day 😆 🤣

@WakeUpNRage3 8/5...everything with the Happy Hookers is 1st Saturday of the month...tournaments, cookouts, classic...everything...easy to remember that way. Lake Pan on 8/5 is a night tournament...4 to 11...

Lol the North side and McIntosh Bay r both pretty good and during the spawn lochloosa is pretty good
@@WakeUpNRage3 I limit out on specs every trip to lochloosa, but never catch any bass on lochloosa..
Do you guys ever try to flip the middle of the pads ? With braid and a medlock jig or beaver ?
Haven't tried that exact setup before but we've flipped the pads some we've just had better luck in hydrilla haven't quite figured that place out yet always learning

Where do i find the local tourneys and bass club....im up in high springs ...i travel as far as the big O all the time so distance is no problem...
Xtreme Bass series you can find their website and they should have a form on there I believe u can do online or print but that season is more than halfway over Happy Hookers starts on August 8th just find the Facebook group it's $20 membership and $60 per tourney they should be taking members now
