@Big_Bend_Benji 😆 I didn't know about them until that day either I finally got a better look at one and thought it was a carp those things are massive there I just moved right around the corner from there I've been wanting to go out there again in my kayak or canoe I'll probably go again with Lou in the future also that lake has some giants right before I started my CZcams channel my buddy Corry and I were fishing on the dock and both hooked into the same fish it was huge but broke free I love that lake I just want to get the year pass so I can go in there at anytime for $60 it's well worth it I'm not sure if the price has changed in the last couple years but I'm probably about to get it again

@computerguy1724 like he said he didn't do it on purpose he tried to throw it past me and the camera that's why he said 3D as he threw it he was just being goofy but accidentally threw it too soft we try not to hurt the fish

That's where I caught my old pb before I upgraded this year I've seen a lot of big bass in there it's an awesome lake that barely gets pressured how big was your pb?

@MrCalamiteh thanks for bashing me while I try to learn more about fishing in every aspect... Lou didn't scope that 7 pounder he was dragging a drop shot through a brush pile with spot lock on not sure if you know how spot lock works but it's always moving around he can't watch his bait while it's doing that or even see it when it's in a brush pile the pattern is to drag brush piles with a drop shot or go offshore and find them with side scan and down imaging you don't need live scope if you know how to use your electronics properly and Mikey Ballz Tactical Bassin and Fish in The Moment all started somewhere or do you think they were just born with all their fishing knowledge and good film making skills? @markcarpenter7682 I was pretty unhappy to say the least I thought it was cool seeing you out there and helping you catch one with ffs plus we did some good stuff filming the graphs and explaining what we were doing and caught a decent amount of fish I was really looking forward to putting that video out it's not often my gopros mess me up like that but when it does it really sucks I've been able to recover footage before but it didn't work for that video we'll get you in a video though here soon hopefully

😆 thanks we use ffs to catch numbers but every big fish on my channel came from just finding them we have yet to catch a Giant with ffs

Thanks man I appreciate that it took a while but I wanted to focus on making content people would enjoy instead of just focusing on subs I've come a long way since this video I here the water is pretty low there so people can't get boats in but you can probably get a kayak out there should be some good fishing if you can I've been wanting to get back out there myself still can't believe that rooster that was crazy 😆

@Notyalc-xh5ww I went there Saturday and it was rough the lakes turned over this past month and made it hard everywhere we went to hampton the next day and did pretty good though alto had a thermocline at 9' until it got later in the day then it went away we found some wolf packs but it was still tough getting them to eat it's definitely in a funk right now

Oh yea just don't want to wait until the afternoon but most times there's still parking it doesnt get too packed usually and it's a long drive backing down but not too bad it's an awesome lake definitely one of my favorites

@Big_Bend_Benji thanks dude I appreciate that the Rapala Crush City The Mayor Shad color is hard to beat when you're fishing a lake with shad it's the perfect way to match the hatch it's definitely become my favorite paddletail by far its been tough to get bites lately but this Bait still makes it happen for sure

@markcarpenter7682 that's awesome it's a lot of fun especially in the fall and winter a lot of the bass will get into mega schools and it just gets stupid youll learn pretty quick big slow singular blobs are usually gar, spec stack a little tighter then bass, and bass move a lot and fast its really hard to get a bass to bite if it's by itself most times they need competition to wanna eat our primary baits are the paddletails in this video or even smaller, the straight tail baits like a Rapala Crush City Freeloader on a hoover rig, the drop shot, A-Rig, jerk bait, and a big silver spoon they tend to feed looking up so you want to cast past them and bring you bait over them but keep it moving when you stop for a second because you see one run up to it real quick they'll usually turn away

@@WakeUpNRage3 good info I’ve caught one over 7 in Hampton many moons ago on a brush pile. If you see a red Gambler out there scoping in the next couple weeks holler at me.

@markcarpenter7682 nice we've hooked into a bunch of good fish on the brush piles ots been really tough every where atm, but Offshore Lou and I might be out there this weekend coming up when I get back from ICast we haven't decided on where we are going yet but here recently most of the bass we've been finding have been on the north end you might see us there

@recordattheroom I definitely agree if I could only choose 1 bait this would be it I fished a tournament yesterday and most people caught all their fish with a drop shot I caught a bunch with it yesterday my partner wasn't getting bit until he switch to the plum color then he started getting slapped there's something about that color no matter where you are bass love it

@kirkallen1246 thanks I really appreciate that we both have a rod dedicated to a drop shot you can fish it pretty much everywhere we catch suspended fish with it, drag brush piles, fish thick hydrilla, bed fish with it, and catch fish just chilling on the bottomn you can fish it pretty much anywhere just give it really light shakes and slowly retrieve it back to the boat thanks for checking out the video I really appreciate that

@tekzz162 thanks we really appreciate that we've been finding some pretty good fish in brush piles here lately its a pretty good summertime pattern and for whatever reason they really like a plum colored worm it's the only color we run on a drop shot sometimes I'll switch to a green pumpkin goby color for bed fishing other than that I throw plum thanks for checking out my videos that's awesome

@lljustice3877 I definitely agree it'd be an extremely versatile bait I've been wanting one for top water so I can work it a little slower because I like throwing weightless paddletails but sometimes the paddletail likes to go sideways or not kick right plus you've gotta work it a little faster

Yea them people get super crazy out there for the most part people are having a good time then you have some that take things too far over something so petty one incident was over a parking space and the other was over a generator now multiple peoples lives are ruined

@Jerry-sy8rd I didn't know much about fishing at this point except deep sea fishing and this was one of my 1st videos so everything about this video was a learning deal for me I don't even remember what music is in this video I definitely don't listen to this type of music I've gotta find a better source for music for sure this was from the go pro quik app so I'm sure it was horrible 😆

@Jerry-sy8rd yea to an extent its hard to just straight up live scope with 2 people throwing at fish there were so many in the area a lot of them we didn't even have to use it a lot of times we just use it to line up our cast we caught em both with it and just fan casting thanks for checking out the video I really appreciate that!!!

@richardwhitefishing yea dude we were stoked I thought that Fish was going to pop loose the way it was fighting Offshore Lou was stoked he was shaking like crazy you gotta check out lake hampton if you've never been it has a bunch of good fish we've been getting some big bites on the brush piles out there lately in about 12-15' of water

Yea it was a 1/0 hook with 12 lbs test I thought it was going to pop loose the way it jumped and kept fighting lol
