One of The BEST places to Catch a GIANT Bass!!!

Watermelon Pond in Newberry Florida is my Home Lake and it is an awesome place to catch a Giant Bass especially during the Spawn this Place is loaded with Big Bass and I was fortunate enough to catch my New PB in This Video it's a grass lake, but when the water level drops too low you can't access it with a regular sized boat it's has tons of different areas where the bass like to pull up and spawn at that are easy to find almost anywhere you see small bushes sticking up out of the water has sandy bottom with a lot less grass making it perfect and easy to locate bass beds it also has a bunch of deeper holes that are pretty easy to find as well just check any place you see big Lilly pads sometimes you'll literally see bass jumping completely out of the water trying to eat dragonflies which is crazy the water is pretty clean for the most part so it's the perfect fishery to produce Huge Bass!!!

Are they still spawning hard there?, i’de love to get out there on a week day but I’m too busy with school and sports so I’ve only been able to get out there on the weekends when the airboats are out.

They are but most beds don't have anything on them you really have to check a lot of different spawning areas to find a bed with a big female on it I feel like there's more on bed than I've seen bc they see me or hear me before I see the bed so I spook them in the canoe and just think the bed is empty I've seen a few bass over 10 pounds recently out there I tried to catch one and it left after 30 minutes of me trying then another one I couldn't figure out what bed it was on bc it was a sandy area but it kept coming back I spent a lot of time trying to figure that one out but ended up having to leave

@Big_Bend_Benji yea it gets a lot of pressure I'm sure you'll catch a Giant soon I caught my 1st one on accident out there on Wauburg and hooked into some others out there but lost them these next couple months are a good time to catch one the shad spawn will start soon so they'll still be shallow
