Nice video Stefan, thank you!
Thank you for watching! I am glad it helped
Great video. Thanks, Stefan.
Thank very much Jonathan! I am glad it helped
Really useful, thanks.
Thank you very much Tony! I am glad it helped
Very nice
Thank you very much!
Thanks for the nice video. I am about to buy my first DJI drone. If correct, I read that the DJI mini 3 has problems with third party softwares like Maps and Litchi. I was thinking then to buy the Mini 2 SE, but on the list publushed at Maps website, the Mini 2 SE is not compatible but the Mini 2 (not SE) is. Which mini 2 did you used? The SE version?
Thank you very much for your comment Jorge!
If you just getting started Mini 2 is great (not the SE model). You can probably find a cheap one second hand
I have been fly it with Map Pilot Pro commercial for more than a year and didn't have any issues with it.
Mini 3 pro should work it theory but me personally I didn't test it. On Maps Made Easy website it says that works only with Android devices. Another great drone tested by me that I have been used for a year is Air 2s, but is over 250g.
Have a look my other video maybe you can find more useful information:
czcams.com/video/n5C-fmRPrxA/video.html
Great video sir! So what do you recommend for the mavic 3pro
Hi there, Mavic 3 pro is not supported if you check the list: support.dronesmadeeasy.com/hc/en-us/articles/205704366-Supported-Hardware
Probably it doesn't have the SDK released by DJI. You can still do 3D models, check my other video: czcams.com/video/Vr_UGT6ABjg/video.html
thank you brother@@flyingsurveyor
Is it possible to do vertical Mapping with this software as well? We do a lot of building facade work and would like to see if we could implement dronework in our jobsite visits!
Hi Tom, it doesn't do that. I know that there are software like Dronelink that offers this option, you just need to check if your drone is supported.
When I do inspections, I prefer to fly manually because I have more control of the drone even if it may take a little bit longer.
Hello. I have an interesting issue. Everything it's rigth: app recognice dron and rc too, but when I select take off the mission doesn't start. I have a mini 3 drone.
Hi David, sorry to hear about that. On Map Pilot Pro website, it says that Mini 3 works only if the app is installed on an Android device. I hope this solves your problem
When could it support AIR 3 ?
DJI needs to release the SDK so third party software can control the drone and create automatic flight paths.
DJI didn't released yet the SDK for the Air 3 and Mini 4 pro, maybe in a year or two.
@@flyingsurveyor Thanks! You are a real pro!
@@binlonergb7075 thank you very much
I have a doubt.
Can I do the same mapping mission using the Mini 3 and the Air 2S?
Hi @matostopografiaegeotecnolo1842, good question.
Yes, you can and I am doing this all the time.
After you create your survey area you have the option to save it by pressing the save button on the top left corner that you can see it at minute 2:52 . You need to save the mission plan before you upload it in to the drone.
After you can access you saved maps from the main menu by pressing Mission Plans. Just change the drone type from Settings, go to Mission Plans and select your saved survey area, upload it in to the drone and you are good to go.
I hope it helped!
Tks
This is acceptable only with n1 controllers? Can I make map with rc controller and the same software?
Unfortunately it work only with n1 controllers. The RC Controller does not support installing any third party applications.
@@flyingsurveyorI’m using the n1 controller and my app keeps saying my controller not supported
@@flyingsurveyornever mind I figured out from their website will only work with android
@@DeadStreamOrganics it's written on their website that only Android is supported, maybe that's the problem
@@DeadStreamOrganics just to be clear, RC N1 controller is the one that you need to use your phone as screen

Do mavic mini support this..
I can't see Mini 1 on the supported drone list: support.dronesmadeeasy.com/hc/en-us/articles/205704366-Supported-Hardware
You can still fly manual, I made another video about it
hello does it work with DJI mini 4 pro ?
DJI didn't release the SDK for Mini 4 pro so there are no third party software that supports it.
The only option, at this moment, is to fly manually. I did another video about how you can create 3D models czcams.com/video/Vr_UGT6ABjg/video.htmlsi=1ePPj3ieqRF6J7aI
is it also accessible to mini 4 pro?
Thanks for your comment! DJI didn't release the SDK for Mini 4 pro so there are no third party software that supports it.

I may create a video about how you can make also orthophotos flying manually when the weather will be more friendly in UK
This is really helpful. But my issue is that I have DJI mini 4 pro and maps made easy does not support Mini 4 series. Do you have any other options for Mini 4 pro ?
Thank you in advance!!

Mannn so cool but they forgot to add Mini 3 to the DJI list :( Does anyone know if I could just use the DJI mini 2 setting?
Mini 3 is also on the supported list. Have a look on their website:
support.dronesmadeeasy.com/hc/en-us/articles/205704366-Supported-Hardware
Check at 1:34
Wish there was something similar for Pixhawk Drones ...
Try Lichi, maybe they support your drone
that too is for DJI 🙂@@flyingsurveyor
You can't use 3rd party software with the mini 3 pro. It will not allow apps to be installed on the rc
You need the RC N1 controller, the one that uses a phone or tablet as a screen. Last time I remember Mini 3 Pro was working only on Android
It depends on what android you have. The mini 3 pro doesn't work with the galaxy s23 ultra for instance. It works with all of the IPhones as far as I've seen.
@@mi-keenterprises this is the drones that are supported: support.dronesmadeeasy.com/hc/en-us/articles/205704366-Supported-Hardware

Does it work with DJI Mini 4 Pro?
The problem with the Mini 4 pro is that DJI didn't released the SDK for it. The SDK allows third-party apps to integrate a drone with their software.
You can still collect data manually, I have a video where I show how you can collect the data manually for 3D with any drone czcams.com/video/Vr_UGT6ABjg/video.htmlsi=RelBxNl8rzAkuJ7G
I may create a video about how to collect data manually and create orthophotos and maps, once the weather will get better.
@@flyingsurveyor So, what type of DJI minis that accept SDK?
@@paulussia4630 Mini 2, Mini 3 and Mini 3 Pro. And use the RC-N1 controller if you want to fly with Map Pilot Pro or other third party app
@@flyingsurveyor Thank you
Hi, Besides mapping, can DJI mini 3 Pro create land contours?
👋🙏
Thanks for your comment
i think it would be a better video if ya blasted the volume of the music between your voice over's
Thank you for your remark, Holly. I will take it in consideration on my next videos
What's the sense of it?
what do you mean?
can do with dji dji mini 4 pro?
Unfortunately you can't do automatic flight with the DJI Mini 4 pro, because DJI didn't release the SDK for it.
How can this map be presented to a client?
You can download the orthophotos and DEM, and import them in a GIS software like QGIS or ArcGIS
