That megaphone is EXTREMELY fun. I flew it around on my DJI Mini 4 pro. I have MANY items from StartRc. I've been very happy overall with the quality and fun of the items.
The LED props are fun, I had them on for a week or so. Only 1 drawback is that you can not fold your mini 4 down for storage. The air drop kit is really cool!
Btw funny thing was . You put triple props in the dji case 😂😂😂

At 3:55 when you are talking about adding extra propellers to the hard case for the Mini 3/Mini 3 Pro/Mini 4 Pro the extra propellers you are putting in the case are for the Avata 2. What I enjoy about your videos is that you are not afraid to tell the bad things along with the good. Way too many people who do product reviews will never criticize a product with a fear they won't get anymore "free stuff". You're honest and that means a lot to me as a viewer.

I think the storage underneath the drone is for props, etc., and that longer, thinner space is for your filters case.
I have been using the startrc case since the mini 4 came on the market and am still very satisfied. The drone and controller is well protected and all the necessary accessories fit in it perfectly. The case also regularly goes with me in my bicycle bag and I've never had any problems with it. For the money, a top product.
Most of the StartRC products that I have tried are well worth the money spent. Especially there hard cases, for the low price you pay for them, there pretty hard to beat. Great video Russ, and thanks for sharing.

I think the true shenanigans was you put the strobe light on the back of the drone…? I thought it needed to be on top of the Drone😮

I bought that case right after getting the Mini 4 Pro. It took about 3 weeks to get it as everything was new. Also ordered the case for the Avata 2 (again 3 weeks). I prefer cases to those DJI bags
Great vid. I think there are few things I caught you did:
1. You used a wrong prop for the demo, shown is the Mini 4/3 drone but put a 3 bladed prop
2. Fumbled whilst folding the RC2 antenna (Not sure)
3. Inserted the SD card wrong way around the first time

Bought the hard case for my Mini 3. Awesome case, but kind of cumbersome compared to the original fly more soft bag.
Buying the goggles and motion controller for the Mini 4 Pro isn’t exactly budget @ $800, but there is a much better way. I bought the Xreal Air 2 Pro AR glasses. They plug directly into your RC 2 controller and you see a 200 inch screen with incredible detail. You can also use it for watching movies or playing games on the pc. Can also connect to smartphone and iPad

Thanks for the info about the card speeds. Funny thing, I just upgraded from my Mavic Mini to Mini 4 Pro, and according to DJI, Samsung Evo Plus which I have, is fast enough, and I have Sandisk Extreme (not pro) is faster so I figured the Extreme would be suitable, but going by your test it's not. So to be on the safe side I will get the Extreme Pro instead. Mini 4 Pro max video bitrate is 150MB/s which is still faster than the Extreme Pro write speed but not by much and probably buffering will be enough to even out the write.
I have that case, and it is amazing for the money! I paid $35 for mine a few months ago.

Hi, Great video as usual. Will the remote sun shade cover fit ion the SYMIK P330 case?
I actually just got the sun shade cover for the DJI RC. The only grip I have is that the hinge feels cheap and probably will fail or at least wear out and stop clicking into positions.
Three bladed props into a two bladed drone box.
Not really gonna work for backups.

Great video again, i actually already purchased the case.. as you said the foam isn’t the best, which is why for my other drones i went with Lekeufee cases which have the best foam and the prices are really competitive….. i will be purchasing the screen cover for my screen displays… like you tho i use a screen with my mini 4(iPad mini)… I haven’t found issue with the cards as you have tho, but have gone to the extreme pro cards.. offer was buy 4 get 5% off for me..

Anything that adds weight to the Mini 4 Pro could push it over the sub 250g weight, meaning here in the UK you would need a CAA license and be restricted on where you can fly (dramatically), you need to state this.
You put 3 bladed props into the slot when descirbing the case while suggesting the slot was to store props for the Mini 3 Pro.
I think you need more avata props in that case, just in case you bring it along. Two is not enough.

Is the strobe light for low light flying the best solution? I don't fly it at night but sometimes it's hard to see the drone against a grey sky...I saw a landing gear with lights and I guess if I aim the camera straight down then it will catch some of the light? Not sure if there is something newer now. I have the MIni 4 pro drone.

The sun hood won't fit if you have the silicone protective cover on your RC controller.
So, Russ... the primary message about StartRC is that they make cut-rate gear that is just now becoming somewhat usable, and you're going to put their props on your drone? Borrow a drone from Ken and try them on on his first. I'd recommend flying over water. Be sure to get video!

Will the Sun Hood fit in the Simic Hard-side Waterproof Case? The propeller you put in @ the 4:13 mark seems a bit wonky?
I am building a checklist as I brought a full SanDisk last week.
I cringed a little when I saw the RC lying face down on the table. LOL
I accidently did an intersection on slow-motion instead of hyper-lapse. Not very interesting. I would think hyper-lapse would have no problem saving a frame every couple seconds or so with a slower SD card.

I use the ViFly which is an excellent quality strobe, not sure of its avaiability in the USA but its very popular here in England. The startRc case is identical to other cases from other brands so I'm guessing that StartRc do not manufacture them but simply add their name to the product?
What about the year of free DJI refresh Russ? For Anker you said 45 buck instead of 45 water, but corrected yourself.
Hey, i have a question for you. Last year I got my hands on the mini 2 se and it’s been great. But I am thinking of upgrading to a more capable/more fun drone. The options I am considering right now are between the Air 3/mini 4 pro, Avata 2 or wait for the Air 3s. I have had some fun with the mini but it looks so fun to fly and fpv drone. I would like to get your opinion on which drone you would recommend😄

It’s for manned aircraft. It’s best to place it on top.

Captain drone had Master Airscrew Props on his channel like 2 weeks ago I ordered them for my DJI Mini 3 Pro different colors. I tried them I was amazed with the sound how much quit they are. They are not high priced. I like the bright colors you can see the drone so much better. I am going to check on the carrying case for the mini 3 pro. An the sun visor to. I wish the remote for the mini 3 pro had Antenna's for it. Wouldn't that make it go out farther with out losing signal with the antennas? I wanted to ask to the goggles for the mini 3 pro with the antennas would help with getting a better signal at a farther distance?? Hope you can help me with this??

I don’t fly at night but do need help finding the drone in the sky. The belly light on the mini 4 pro is ok but not sufficient once up at 150+ feet. Does this strobe make it more visible in the day?
Not really. You almost need like 4 of them to really make a difference in daytime visibility.

NGL I kind of regret spending the extra money on the RC2. I've had my Mini 4 barely 2 months and already it's getting pretty slow.
I've had a few times that it takes literal minutes to boot up and other times I'm in camera view in 30-45 seconds. Unless your phone is broken or horribly outdated just save yourself the money and use the RC-N2 with your phone.

I had Samsung evo plus 512gb recommended on official DJI site and had the same info in app about too slow microSD, changed it on guarantee in shop and for now with new card everything looks good. For now… it has 130mb/s write speed

About microSD: not as fast as sandisk. Please guys have a look at write speed > it is different. Slower than sandisk

Not sure what you mean about truth? I did not say that they were equal Write speed. I simply said these are the two cards that I use. And they both work very well in my Mini 4 Pro. 🤷🏻♂️
@@51Drones so maybe there is a mistake from my side! sorry, I’m glad you answer. Best thing is to test speed of microSD card and see there is no more than 100mb/s write because on package they said TO 130mb/s it doesn’t mean that they will sell card with almost 130, more less it’s about 90
Mini 4 is a small portable drone .. that HUGE Case is not.
USD$21 for a mini strobe light is too high. It's can be got for far less.
