Thank you for this. I thought maybe whoever worked on my truck before put the bolt in with the struts out and didn't think it through. Every other video I could find for F-150/Expedition had a different suspension, and the bolts had tons of clearance. Edit: I couldn't get enough downward movement with a pry bar. It was easier and faster to just disconnect the bottom bolt and remove the strut, since I was doing the lower ball joint as well.
Thank you for the helpful video.. I have an 03 ford expedition eddie bauer. It needs the upper control arms, ball joints, tie rods replaced and an alignment. I was quoted 1650 is that a fair price?
