- Check out the new strategy title from Ashes of the Singularity developer Oxide Games. Lead your chosen nation through the timeline you create with your choices. Rule how you want to rule, craft on a national scale, and build a Prestige score that will put you ahead of your rivals. It'll be released on PC and PC Game Pass in fall of this year.

Finally a 4x game where cities actually will look like cities with people in them. Intrigued by the crafting system.
Humankind got close to that but it still was a bit unnatural.. still love that game though
Been a thing since Civ6
@@user-ne8gp2fm2d Idk what civ 6 you were playing😂
@@jsgamerpro2359cities looking like cities been a thing since Civ6
@@MrAnthonyDraft the scale is too bad
Interesting part the cities really "spread" Through the land not just a node like a stronghold
Heard it all before. Hope they can actually deliver unlike Humankind many others before it
my thoughts excalty.
This is Catan x Age Of Empires x Civilization
Looks interesting. Here is to hoping this will not struggle with performance on launch.
Amazing, can't wait to play!
As a catalan I'm so happy to see Gaudí's Sagrada Familia displayed in such an ambitious game, thanks!
Even if its just another Old World or Humankind, the more of these games that exist the better
I’m pretty intrigued by the crafting system they were talking about. Hopefully it’s done well
This dude looks like every game dev put into one.
lmao they arent a pretty looking bunch
loved the editing! showing the devs having fun was awesome!
As a longtime Civ player whose current favorite is probably Humankind and who's back and forth on buying Millennia, I'm really looking forward to this one! The scale and zooming capabilities look especially promising!
Looks amazing!!! Can't wait to get my hands on this game :D
Im gonna speedrun to the mechs and create the BattleTech universe SO fast!
This man is planning on making a StarCraft world
Ambitious game. The same studio that created Ashes of the Singularity is going to restart the RTS hype train. Let's go. Hopefully, this game will be another benchmarking legend.
For anybody struggling with *cougars,* feel free to send them all my way 🙃
Finally a Civ competitor that actually looks like it might pull it off.
Funny fact: It made by ex Civ developers (first civ games)
Looks awesome
Really excited for this
Ara~Ara~Ara a strategy game that has the spread of a city! not just 2-3 hexes on a map,
Loving the Eiffel tower's scale next to the regular buildings.
Ara ara
Boya!
2:05 Genius, finally a strategy game developer that gets it. These guys might actually get it people..
If only Paradox had this in mind when making Victoria 3
Sounds amazing!
My most hated part about 4x games is the world seeming kind of dead and not real, but this looks quite promising
Really looking forward to this game and wishing you the best for development :)
This really looks interesting
This actually looks like labour of love toward strategy and 4x games
It looks very promising :3 i would love toplay this game
Looks fantastic!
Ara Ara~
Hooked for the game, it just looks great
Looks nice!!!
Looks amazing but lets hope they can execute it well.
hype!!
You got me on "like Civilization V." don't even need to watch the rest
Looks interesting. Never played a game like this (Total, Civilizations), only a Zoo Tycoon or Planet 😅.
Looks exciting
History has its eyes on you!
>all the buzzwords
Damn im sure it will be an absolute smashing hit.
Looks really great
Yesssssss
Hear me out.. how if after successfully ending an era with high achievement score, the next era become golden age, and the player can choose from a list of golden age character based on the previous era achievement.. so you can choose from alexander the great or cyrus the great if you get golden age ancient era from a militaristic bronze age.. the achievements scores can be economic, cultural, industrious, etc, each with their own leader.. if the player can only reach normal age, they only get generic leader, and if its dark ages, they can choose from some controversial leader that have weakness but also some strength such as ivan the terrible or others dubious character..
And if the player achieve golden age after a dark age, they may choose from some rare leader..
This guy forgets Ashoka the Great who at that same time ruled over India 250BCE spanning from Eastern Iran all the way to Tibet , who fought off Alexander the Great and turned buddhism into a major religion by spreading it all over Asia. Bit noo Cyrus the great is mentioned, the one that only managed to conquer huge swats of lands with barely any people in it
@@ashokathegreat4534 No, Chandragupta the Great are the one that conquer Nanda Empire to create large Maurya Empire in 324 BCE, that span from Kush in the west to Bengal in the east, and make marriage treaties with Alexander the Great's general in Persia called Seleucus so they won't attack each other.. Ashoka are Chandragupta's grandson that inherit the large empire and expand the empire to the south and convert the empire into Buddhism..
Looks great, seems like an inoffical Civ 7. I am just not sure about "no victory conditions".
That joke of a game? More like Civ 7 will be the unofficial Ara game.
@@Navitus lmao Civilization is still strong. Not even RTS can compete there's been 6 games already and one on the way, where AOE could only get to the fourth installement. Civilization is unkillable.
It's basically Score victory (in Civ)
Of course, "Domination" is *always* a victory condition no matter how hard people try to remove it... If there's no one else in the game, it's hard to lose :P
Yeah agreed, every game will be exactly the same, just collecting points...
Yes, no victory conditions are risky, but if the prestige system is made well, it gives a way to win with more freedom.
This is just civilisations expanded
Seems closer to STELLARIS than CIV and that's great!
Well, not everyone can resist
"Ara Ara"😘❣️
cultured
According to Jez Corden at Windows Central they don't like you saying that.
SCREAMING at that under desk hammock, ridiculous.
Ara ara 😘
Civilization, AOE with Total War combat? YES PLEASE
So if have gamepass i’ll have an “ara” game … that’s mean if bought this game again … then .. !!
Is that the guy from The Dragon's Tomb?
3:56 Tbilisi, Georgian confirmed! lets go!
Ok here 🔥 🎈🎈🎈
Will this game run at 60fps?
우와 기대됩니다!!
ARA ARA ARA ARA ARA ARA
3:23
is this essentially Europa Universalis 5? Or basically Ara Universalis
W Dan
I'm loving this trend of "Civ killers" games. May there be many more
now we just need total war killers
Interested.
4x Ara Ara~
im hesitent on it
It seems nice in gameplay, but is it just me or the graphic is weirdly off?
when will there ever be a game with a global map like Civ or Europa Universalis but the battles are like Total war :/
Ara: Game Unplayed
is there gonna be modern weaponry like huns and helicopters
future tech looks to have mechs, why wouldn't they have aircraft? One of the biggest eras is the advent of flight....
So pretty much we will see another Gandhi the conqueror situation. 💀
Will it be a turn base game?
It is
@@BrionBishopEnjoyer ok
Ara mateix
Victory conditions sounds like ordinary, boring score victory.
ARA ARA...
Building Triumphs reminds me of Empire Earth, whenever you built one of these you got buffs and stuff, but at the same time threatened from every enemy
didn't see any naval wars
What, no Mac? :(
Why do they sound like an Apple presentation
And why is this not called Civ VII? 😂 Looks great btw
Because Firaxis/2K controls that IP.
Crafting in a 4x game?
is it not just manufacturing ?
like catan, yes.
The regions are way to big for a game like this. At least for troop movement regions need to be subdivided into smaller chunks.
Any company that lets their devs setup a hammock under their desk to chillax 6:18 seems like they award the freedom and agency to make something special
Can you guys make Black and White 3 next pls o pls
is this aaa game or indie?
Not indie because the estudio is in the Microsoft umbrella, more like an AA game
@@antef_ thx
We been getting robbed with cheesy money grabs will see how Ara does
Cities skylines and Civ had a baby
Prestige worldwide. 😂
Can’t wait to play it on my PS5 and iMac!
Hahaha haha OK that make me laugh. You should had put "with my switch controller
please dont be another humankind
DAY1
Si no lo hubieran hecho por turnos, le habría dado una oportunidad.
We made Civ… So let’s make Civ but not call it Civ.
"We will make civ 6 what it should have been"
Are you brain dead? This fundamentally has so many differences to civ.
@@providence160 Not really. Most of the differences are some slight mechanical differences but the core game and gameplay loop seem to be the same
There is massive mechanical differences.@@Americanbadashh
crafting system looks like over complicating grand strategy...
This work environment looks weird af.
It's a game dev studio, they all seem quirky like that
@@Americanbadashh scooters down the hallway, hundreds of world instruments hanging around the place, just walk up to fridge and grab a free soda. Seems wild.
definitely looks like just another civ game..
Well it's 4X game of course it does
AI voice?
Not Joan of Arc again 😑
So its civ 7 lol
its beautyful
First
Leaders are a ripoff from civ VI, colud have been a little more creative.
The devs used to work in the earlier Civ series
Lots of people get great enjoyment playing with their favorite world leaders, Civ wasn't the first game, that you play as historical figures. The Idea is so great, and helps with theming. Vs the way human kind does it and you create your own avatar.
Truly terrible leaders selection.
