S-K got huge press in the indie world during the mid '00s, and their albums regularly were near the top of the annual critic's best albums of the year poll for Pazz & Jop during that period as well.
(I haven't really followed indie music since the mid '00s. Rock and music in general seems 90% dead the past decade. I just play my old records and mp3s mostly.)
Victor Ha dude, there is ALWAYS good music,the inspiration is always there, and there always people to play it, so get over yourself. You might have to look harder now then before, but it's also a hell of a lot easier to do so because of how much the internet has expanded, so find a current underground band, and you'll be lead to plenty like it.

As a long time SK fan, I’m very grateful they captured Janet’s legit drumming style. She’s always swishing her hair back and forth. Carrie didn’t do enough kicks but it’s k cuz Bobs Burgers. Love it.

The definition of Literally has evolved due to its use in social settings. It has a much broader use now so, in this sense, it was applied appropriately.

Anybody else realize that the animation is smoother on this, rather the actual Bob's Burgers cartoon. (The cartoon is funny as hell, don't get me wrong)
I know old comment is old, but it's probably cause this is short, they can probably do more frames, and add more color because they are not making a whole series of this, animation is expensive, it takes 24 frames for a second to happen in movie and in animation if something is off it's really easy to notice. Like if the mouth isn't matching the words, or if limbs are jumping to places.
@@darkmyro also it should be noted that the dances in the end credits tend to be just as fluid as this but yeah I think you guys are right
@@darkmyro Bob's Burgers generally is animated pretty smoothly. I think saying " the animation is smoother in this" isn't really true. They went the extra mile on the movement but there is a lot of repetition so they didn't actually have to redraw that many frames. Animating is time management.

Not an expert but I'd say they were given a slightly higher budget for a shorter amount of work. They also probably were given more visual range than usual because it's not supposed to fit into an episode.

***** I do buy music; but if the place that SELLS it offers it for free i'll take it. Free music is one way a band gets their music out there. Also a band makes the majority of their money from shows and merch sales at shows. No need to be rude.
***** kronvlat First off, sorry for the swearing. You are right, no need to be rude, and I apologize. Secondly to the both of you, itunes pays the artist nothing to survive. Neither does spotify, or pandora, or anything digital. Thus, the artist's only refuge is to tour, and hawk their merchandise. And if you think that is a fair compensation for the work that goes into making good music, then you have no friends that are trying to make a living as a musician. Music should have gravity to it, it should not be as disposable as the both of you are trying to make it be. Music should not be pass along and then thrown away via a link. You think artists can survive by touring only? Go talk to somebody who is an artist and see what their response is. And you bring up Sleater-Kinney, nice example. 9 out of 10 people would have no idea who Sleater-Kinney was if it wasn't for Portlandia (and they've had like 10 albums!). So, before you bring up the 0.01% of artists that can make money using the method you both brought up, go think about everybody else trying to make ends meat because you're glad you got to have some art when it was that small period of time that you were able to rip the artist off for free..
Just me and my soapbox over here. I am not an artist, nor a musician, but if somebody creates art, and you want to enjoy it, then you should pay for it. That's it, end of story. You can not debate this point so don't try. So, instead of debating both of you on the merits of how to get stuff for free from people without having to compensate those people, I'll repeat what I said 4 months ago. Go by music and support the artists (or continue to, thanks kronvlat!)
