This video was extremely helpful to me because, I am currently a marine electrician who have worked on submarines and navy surface ships. I also worked as a copy machine technician and a nuclear instrumentation technician - submarines. I am about to switch career over to automobile electrical diagnostics.
I do understand how electrical and electronic circuits work however, there seem to be different symbols in the automotive industry, so that's the part i'm really concerned about. I do have some experience on electric vehicles (transit buses) so I feel confident that my past experience in electrical and electronic troubleshooting will transfer over to the automotive field. I will be working strictly on Mercedes models beginning in January therefore is trying to get up to speed with the different symbols and color codes used in automotive schematics.
This video has been extremely helpful as I said before therefore I will most certainly check out your other videos.

Madness! I studied in Soviet Union electro-technical school. And now sure- that fundamental education was the best. To read el. diagram one must know:
    -elements,lines
-divide diagram on (power circuits, signal mv-t, control circuits etc)
    - and last: to read montage scheme
