Oh BTW. Love the new series on reading wiring diagrams. I agree with you. Seems like everybody I've trained or tried to train has a hard time with wiring diagrams.
One of the best lessons on youtube by far!
Wow, I didn't think anyone made videos like this for reading diagrams. Thanks can't wait to make it to the next video!
Sharpie makes a nice 5 marker set in the respective colors. I can't wait until Duane tells us to go and purchase a PowerProbe! Great video and series!!
Duane, Great work.. Only you can beat your skills and there is no one like you to teach as well as you can.
I really enjoyed this and it was helpful. I showed this to a co worker and it helped get him on the same page as me while we were diagnosing an issue.
Thank you so much for posting these. Really helping me learn a ton on something that's hard to grasp for me

Expectations of the remaining 5:16 of information delivered and above built up conceptions! Cheers! Now I am getting it!
This video was extremely helpful to me because, I am currently a marine electrician who have worked on submarines and navy surface ships. I also worked as a copy machine technician and a nuclear instrumentation technician - submarines. I am about to switch career over to automobile electrical diagnostics.
I do understand how electrical and electronic circuits work however, there seem to be different symbols in the automotive industry, so that's the part i'm really concerned about. I do have some experience on electric vehicles (transit buses) so I feel confident that my past experience in electrical and electronic troubleshooting will transfer over to the automotive field. I will be working strictly on Mercedes models beginning in January therefore is trying to get up to speed with the different symbols and color codes used in automotive schematics.
This video has been extremely helpful as I said before therefore I will most certainly check out your other videos.
Thanks for your comments. Good luck
Great, great, great lesson. I've always wanted o understand the wiring on cars. Thank you, dude.

Madness! I studied in Soviet Union electro-technical school. And now sure- that fundamental education was the best. To read el. diagram one must know:
-elements,lines
-divide diagram on (power circuits, signal mv-t, control circuits etc)
- and last: to read montage scheme
This is awesome. Love ur approach on this.
you re wonderful. just seeing this in 2020 and am really glad to find this.

I just passed my state certification in electricals for cars and light truck vehicles in the state of Michigan. The one thing that I had trouble with on the test, was diagrams. You are clearing up many unanswered problems that went wrong in my mind about diagrams.
Some of the best videos is from the guy 👍
Very helpful. Thanks for posting. I've been trying to figure out my dishwasher circuit diagram for a week. It's been driving me crazy. Now I am able to figure some things out.
glad it helped. Keep in mind, all electrical diagrams are simply a map however sometimes different systems use different symbols (signs). Automotive and dishwasher may have different symbols but the all work electrically the same.
detail and informative so as to build the basis of electricity.
Helpful.
