- Overview: In this episode we venture inside an abandoned Sanatorium where retired police horses were kept and their blood was used as away to find further Tuberculosis Testing! While there wasn’t a lot to see this place was still beautiful in its own ways!
- History: In July of 1906 New York City opened a tuberculosis sanatorium and kept horses on site for their blood, which could be used for vaccinations. The sanatorium is long gone, but the unit has been retiring police horses here since the early '80s!
