I am glad he made it his own way. People expected him to do it at a "big club" like his dad but he went through the lower leagues and stuck by Leicester. He also seems to have a good sense of humour and grounded feet when you think about the whole Eriksen incident and his banter with the English players.

He is, after all, Danish. Not being too big for your boots is in the DNA + he married a midwife, which will keep him grounded. (In Denmark getting into that educationis for the best and the brightest - you need crazy high notes).

tbf Dutch and Danish are close enough to English that if you learn it from a young age, even in Denmark or Holland, you can pretty much end up without an accent. but yeah he’s a Northener
@@imamoronand9199 English is close enough to every single Eurasian language. The thing that you mean is how close the language's pronunciation is. AND Danish is freaking alien compared to English. If you learn a language at an early age, it doesn't matter what your original language is; that's why people have good English accents not your "Dutch and Danish are close enough to English that if you learn it from a young age". Even if it's an alien language, if you learn English at an early enough age, you will get the accent.
@@shambhav9534 You are right. But it has always been easy for Danes to adapt accents. You can see it with all the actors who can do pretty good British accents with limited training. Danish is such a hard and 'alien' language that most other language then seems easy to pronounce for Danes. That's why Danes rarely change the pronunciation on foreign names or terms for example.
@@MichaelHolmgaard Yep, that too is a point. It'll be easier for me to say Spanish stuff because I can say stuff harder due to my language than someone who's first language was English. It just the language which has a broader spectrum, not the most alien language though. I get your point.
@@imamoronand9199 Eh. Native residing Danes are exposed to English mainly through American media. If we manage to overcome, not just our national but also our regional accents, we gravitate towards a sort of generic American broadcast voice.

Denmark now have qualified to WM 2022 with 8 straight wins, 27 goals made and not one conceded. Denmarks defense have been great for years, but having a top world class goalkeeper as final backstopper really makes a difference! Such a joy to watch this clip.
A unique participant but at the same time you never doubt Kasper are a TEAM player! It is so easy to get complacent when the earnings are high, but Kasper clearly keeps working hard to keep growing.
Man U must still be blue and green over selling him to Leicester. They screwed up and put him at goal at to young an age. His father also just got better and better with age. If anyone should have known that would happen, besides us Danes that never doubted it, it should have been Man U. Good for you Leicester!

He's half Danish so he's accent is very British
Also the Danish accent is probably the European accent that sounds the closest to the northern British accent. That is why most Danes sound a bit British speaking English. It might be something to do with the Vikings invading northern England

I found that Danish language-media as well as Danish social media were somber and respectful in defeat.
What distinguishes Neuer from other keepers besides his reflexes and acrobatic abilities is his intelligence. When you watch him in action, you can't but conclude that almost any move he makes is the right one for the situation.
