Respect to those guys driving those big ass W900's and 379's on those little roads
Looks like mostly just show trucks bobtailing to and from shows.
@@volo1826 Aand staged for the camera.
YOU do it.
I'd be curious to know, if they arent show trucks, how other euro truck drivers first react to them when out on the road or if they have doubts of them being able to back into certain locations.
@@carlspackler91 American drivers run some skinny ass roads over here, so yeah, we do it.

Seeing our trucks on those roads really put it into prospective of how damn tight it is over there
Oh it's tight.. believe me
It Shows how fucking huge these trucks are😂
Tighter than two dogs humping
And how dumb the trucks in Europe look
Well ill take a europen truck any day over here they are the best since they can turn realy good on our roads. Some of the us trucks can barly turn just becouse of the disign of them. lets just face it europe old style of roads, us is quite a new county and have big spaces wher this type of trucks works. ill drive a swedish truck that is 25,25 m long that a trailer with dolly and the truck it self that is about 9 - 10 m long by it self. You have to know befor if you can drive truck and trailer or if you have to uhook the trailer befor you go ther. thats our normal driving in sweden.
Ain’t no different than driving on the east coast. Little roads with no shoulder and people driving on the wrong side of the road
John Doran Truth
Go to northern maine then.. potato fields and logging roads
RaceME Yes, you’re not lying 😀 Had a guy in Millinocket once tell me, anything south of Bangor they considered Massachusetts 😀
John Doran ain’t is not proper grammar.
You are 100% right
I would love to see more American trucks in the UK , they are gorgeous machines, I visited the states and drove from New York to Virginia and when those fuckers drove past you were deafened by the engines and the roar of the wind passing. They are beasts , we need more over here
Europe trucks are small for a reason is because yall roads are small
@@isaaccollazo2874or us americans of the united states just like big loud annoying box body getups haha. weird seeing the euros driving our obnoxious rigs faster than us
@@isaaccollazo2874 And don't be fooled by their size. Scandavanian trucks have more power than they look, mainly due to their geography.
@@isaaccollazo2874 US trucks are wider and longer, ours are taler and the Scania V8 and Volvo are the top 3 strongest trucks at the moment.
@@Limburg92 U.S. trucks make up the lack of horse power with 18 speed manual transmissions. Those transmissions transfer a lot of torque in the mountainous terrain in the western USA.
Man, those two trucks at 10:03 really made me smile. Peterbilt has always been my favorite.
Yeah man, here too! Truck's beauty at it's true, raw core!
As an American truck driver. I was in Berlin Germany last year and was interesting to see how narrow the streets and avenues were. Even just to bobtail in one of our trucks over there would have been interesting to say the least.
Makes me smile to see the care given to American iron on foreign soil. Hell, looks to me like some of them ol boys take better care of our trucks than some of us do
They are better taken care of. Laws in most European countries for all motor vehicles are extremely strict. They have to be tested yearly, if they fail, you have to get it fixed quick or they take it off the road and its a pain to get them back on. Some countries, a dents or surface rust is a no go.
@John Douma Stupid
@Asserting Word , agreed. I saw some accessories that I have never seen on any rig in the States.
8:58 all the way, with the USA style lol
For sure but I bet some of the super patriotic trucks were American truckers inside or just very pro American European truckers lol either way good for them!! 🇺🇸🇺🇸
9:05 Good Lord that is one fine piece of American Exceptionalism
It’s so weird to me but cool how loving people are of the American trucks I’m so used to seeing them day to day my father in law runs local material delivery’s in Florida using peterbuilts and kenworths, hearing the Cummings motors constantly, it’s so cool to think a lot people haven’t gotten to feel the motor in their chest nor hear it in person !
I am a retired Truck driver, After seeing these fantastic trucks , Make me what to go back to work😎👍
Want*
There are only a few things as iconic as an American big rig
I love the European love for American trucking. I love that they can mix European and American while still keeping it cool.
I’d love to go to Europe and experience this!
I come from Europe and love every truck in the world! Fancy scania, a big kenworth a hino or a kamaz! Especially the rally one... They all do the same job! Providing us!
there is no european love for american trucking, all truckers here use european brand trucks because they are more reliable, agile and fuel efficient. these people do not drive this for their job, it is literally not allowed in most european countries to drive vehicles this large.
@@fuckoff4705 why are you so butthurt 😂
@@fuckoff4705 Technically, they can as they haven't breached length limits yet. But that means it can't be used for commercial purposes, or the trailers have to be comically shorter.
I love our trucks, but I'll admit a long hood Pete just wasnt made to navigate the tight roads in Europe. Hell they are hard enough to drive through certain cities.
That,s what i drive in New York a long hood peterbilt and the wheelbase is at 300 inch, pulling a 48 foot flatbed but for us here easy since our highways and roads are pretty big, well everything in US is XXXLLL 😂😂😂😂

Small cabs and long hoods, I drive a pete 379 everyday and is really unconfortable
You guys definitely do have a different attitude/culture towards trucks in Europe. We hardly have any truck shows in the US and its not often that you just see semis driving around without trailers. You guys also appear to love spot lights and graphics on your trucks. All we care about in the states is our chicken lights/marker lights, chrome and paint.
I saw at least 3 versions of Optimus Prime here.
Same
When i was active duty army, I got stationed in Germany back in 2007. I seen at least 2 or 4 American rigs over there. And they were all kenworth
i love American Trucks
Those European guys must be loving those American rigs!!!
Im the only one that was expecting the first truck to transform and say??: *My name its Optimus Prime leader of the autobots* Lol

Love the big American Old Iron Trucks . So Majestic and powerful.
man that 1980's peterbilt is something huh? beautiful
Yea, I like this !!! Showin the world what big trucks look like, up close and personal ...
Yeah, gaudy!
I would love to drive a truck in Europe! I told my subscribers if I got to 50k I would book a trip to do it. Awesome to see the euro touches on the kinds of trucks I own and see everyday.
I love that T800 pulling a tanker, looks like that one's making some money over there.
I liked it too, the owner has most of the fleet apart from European trucks he had nice american trucks from kenworth and peterbilt
holy crap what a brutal horn I love it 8:01
11:10 The dude on the side must have never seen a Peterbilt before.
That gorgeous Peterbilt has a massive presence. Imagine being used to smaller and maybe quieter Euro spec trucks your whole life only for that gargantuan, shiny behemoth rumbling into view that looks like it could pulverize any European vehicle.
Really cool american irons with some european styling mixed in!
Good to see American muscle of all forms over the pond!
East bound and down, loaded up and truckin'...
Freaking cool. Gentleman.
I never knew you folks like American trucks
Making Europe better one 379 peterbilt, w900 kenworth, a900 kenworth, Mack superliner, needlenose pete, and freightliner classic at a time. So great to see that some of the American greats are seeing use and love overseas as they become a dying breed here in the states. At least 389 Petes and W900s are carrying the tradition of having that beautiful hood out there. We have so many steering wheel holders now that would have a panic attack behind the wheel of these trucks now that don’t even need to be behind the wheel. I’ll keep that hood out there until I retire
10:17 the most American old skool truck
Peterbuilt baby! 😍
In many parts of the world, American models are purchased as collectibles (usually by the transport company owners themselves). The problem with American models is excessive fuel consumption, they are only used in 90% of cases in North America, where the price of fuel is cheap, in other parts of the world, thanks to taxes, they make freight prices unviable for a transport company.

The exhaust brakes sound mental.
I'm not pretending to know a lot about truck but there's nothing better than the sound of an old truck. The whine of the turbo...man a wee bit of pee just came out...wait a minute...that ain't pee!!!
I like the sound of the 2 stroke diesels, they sound like they're hitting redline all the time.

Dude I'm literally getting my break in a 38 feet rigid. Through even smaller roads. In the bosses words "we deliver where other people are not willing to" yeah, for good reasons!
Now i know we're most of our cabovers went!!!!
Yep
keep on truckin probably because American style front engine trucks are usually illegal in most countries.
@@Atomicneko3000 well they're not illegal, it's just you're forced to keep the trailer tractor combination to a certain length. And if you want a fancy truck you need a customade shortened trailer. Nobody wants that.
Excellent videos showing European truck enthusiasts loving the raw power of our American trucks! Love the video and thanks for sharing!

@@bryanmartinez6600 How much torque? Over here, a Cummins X15 can put out 605 hp and 2,050 lb-ft of torque.
@@Vladpryde So right now the most powerful production truck is the volvo fh16 750, with 750 hp and ~2600 ft/lbs of torque. The most powerful drive train in the US is the one based off of the cummins isx15, for example the peterbilt 389, with 600hp and 2050 ft/lbs of torque. However, the peterbilt comes with an eaton-fuller 18 speed manual, but the volvo is stuck with a 12 speed auto. That being said a truck owner would have a much easier time getting more power out of the peterbilt than the volvo, the peterbilt is easier to repair, and US laws are much nicer for truck modding than EU/UK laws.
@@Vladpryde only 2050 lb-ft of an 605 hp engine, we get that out of an Scania V8 520 hp with it's (1991lb-ft)... mor modern engine although
@@Moe-mr6mx And Then we have Scania 730 V8 with it's 2581 lb ft on tap from 1000 to 1350 rpm.
