How to Calculate Concrete Stair Volume Quickly

Calculating the volume of concrete stairs can be tedious 😩. You have to find the volume for each stair, but most of the time they have one or two of the same dimensions. But the Construction Master Pro is a major time saver here:
1️⃣ Enter the length, width and height of the top stair first: enter the length and press LENGTH, the width and press WIDTH, the height and press HEIGHT. Then press HEIGHT again to get its volume. Press M+ to store this volume in memory.
2️⃣ If the next stair down has the same length but different width and/or height, you don’t need to change the length. To change its width and height: enter the width and press WIDTH, and enter the top stair’s height and subtract the height difference to get the height of the second stair and press HEIGHT. Press HEIGHT again to get this stair’s volume, and then M+ to store it in memory.
3️⃣ If the next stair down has the same length and width, you just change the height by subtracting another 6.5 inches and press HEIGHT. Press HEIGHT again to get this stair’s volume, and then M+ to store it in memory.
4️⃣ Add all memory values by pushing RCL then M+.
