Energy saving is way better than instant on cause instant on runs applications in the background which makes ur game drop frames
Not true. Just suspends the system instead of clearing ram when you power cycle. Also allows background tasks to download games whilst the Xbox is in standby
@Diah BOZ better for what? If you want your Xbox to turn on quicker and resume games from where you left off, use instant on. There are no downsides other than it uses more power (since you are keeping the Xbox alive instead of cutting the power, I think it's less than a watt so we're talking a couple of £ per year on your electricity bill) and that occasionally your Xbox needs a restart which instant on doesn't do (you have to hold the Xbox button and choose Restart to properly reboot, or just hold the console power button for 10s).
It doesn't change how your Xbox runs at all, other than when there are memory leaks/bugs in the Xbox O/S that require a reboot, it's essentially just a PC so the same issues you get with Windows that require reboots happen in Xbox (weird glitches etc).
Your games won't drop frames, there's no background apps that run that make you drop frames, that's just total bull.
Why do people just make shit up about the console? I've been a professional software engineer for 20 years and it's amazing the amount of bullshit people will spout on the internet. It actually gets on my tits.

@@mrbeb7 it makes no difference at all. One just makes your Xbox start up quicker because it never really turns off.
It just stays awake in a low power state.
The only time you might get performance issues is if you've had your Xbox on for a while and not restarted it and the Xbox UI or other Xbox system software has bugs that cause memory to not be released or stability issues etc.
Instant on has no impact on performance.
Energy saving is only good if your using one app and even then it’s not putting out full power lol
Please do these steps I was lagging so hard before this and i got new internet so I was extra laggy after this no lag spikes at all and I could respawn faster in game

The first dns made it run worse then the second one was better than the first but still not as good as before i had done anything with my dns how do i reset that? I ran 80 mbps before it all then 60 after the first dns then 70 but now i reset my xbox and its saying 46 mpbs and 32 ms latency everything helped except the dns

You can also put your Xbox on 720p it make look worse but I get 10 to 15 less ping and don't forget to use a LAN cable

I have watched many of these videos and some really do help. But most of this network stuff makes my internet worse sadly but I already changes my graphics and audio. And the footsteps are way smoother in apex. All I can do is get a cable but the router is halfway across the house. Plus I don't think my parents would put the money in to put in the ceiling, plus if they were I would probably just get a pc lmao. I prefer Keyboard and mouse but controller is also fine.
