This should be the consistent lineup for this show, it’s amazing 👏🏾
Thanks for watching. Hopefully doing many more with this lineup
@@JJRedickthis is a transcendent line up great for the pod
@@JJRedickI’ll divorce all my other pods for this
Yes!
💯
Timestamps are gamechangers. Truly appreciated
💯
No they aren't.
@@meh7348handle matches comment. You seem fun.
@@meh7348Yeah they are puss
@@meh7348meh, still appreciated
this lineup should definitely be a regular thing, like once a month or something. This is one of the few episodes that I watched from start to finish.
Once a week. I think adding in Zach Lowe would make the perfect 4 panel with these guys. Or this trio and revolve a 4th member
@@rickstevenson267 this trio and a 4th member every other episode would be amazing
@@rickstevenson267zach lowe does not enjoy basketball anymore
@@quevin6125zach told you that?
I think this should happen early season, mid season and after the season! 3x per year not that bad and it won't be saturated
The camera work when RJ started talking about the Korver 2017 shot on JJ was perfect. I love them 😂
“Just like a catch and shoot guy JJ” 🤣
Facts 😂😂😂
“Would you have made that shot” lmaooo
RJ: 'Kyle Korver, probably the greatest shooting 2 guard of my era..."
*Cut to JJ staring into camera*
I can listen to Legler and Jefferson for hours. Keep it coming JJ 🤩
Ur gay
Stopped my one piece train to check this out because ik JJ nd RJ make great content nd this is gonna be a good watch😮💨
I am at impel down RN at episode 432. Stayed up till 3 am and I'm headed to work lol
Duke would be aligned with the world government
Anime is trash. Watch the news like a REAL MAN pansy boy!!!
@@tombystanderI stopped my binge right before the Paramount War.
Stopped it entirely cuz it's mid
Anytime RJ on I’m clocking in like a job. The last pod with him was so genuine, fruitful and informative.
We're 1 episode in with this trio and I already want more.
The ways these guys mesh and go off of each other is incredibly entertaining!
Yeah, what a synergy, what a team. Do you know what the tactics are?
RJ adds the necessary goofy/comedy element that brings out a lighter side of Tim. Great great trio. They should have an NBA show on their own.
Definitely...You watch this and compare it to ESPN's NBA Today and it's not even close. ESPN's show is so bad it's no wonder no hoop head takes that show with any credence.
What Legler said about rivalries at 1:17:58 is facts. Rivalries cannot be manufactured by the media. Real rivalries happen organically, and there aren’t many of them today. I agree with JJ that several conference finals matchups between the Suns and Mavs would be good for the league. Luka vs Booker is a real player rivalry that the media isn’t manufacturing. They genuinely hate each other and it’s always fun to watch those two go at it
I wouldn’t call Booker vs Luka a rivalry. It just doesn’t make sense. You can’t be rivals with your dad
Miami and Boston are a legit rivalry. And you could argue Miami Milwaukee could also be
@@alainlamour5868Milwaukee vs Boston too
My favorite one was Knicks hawks where that happened naturally during the playoffs...but then the media got wind of it and sucked it dry.
LeBronto and people randomly wanting to dominate the clippers are also my favorites
@alainlamour5868 if those guys in the East get angry and driven enough, you could have a genuine 4 way rivalry over there which would be awesome. All 4 of those teams have the potential to be in a serious dogfight for the next 5-10 years.
Was so excited for this when you gave us the preview vid yesterday. Gotta get JJ, Legler, RJ and Zach Lowe on the same show.
And Inside the Nba crew in the opposite corner, trash talking JJ and JR , that would be awesome
JJ, Legler, RJ and Lowe? No thanks. All podcasts after that will suck in comparison 😂
All the favorites right there ngl
JJ's growth as a broadcaster has been really interesting to watch. Of course he has the basketball insights and the social intelligence to conduct solid interviews, but it's really his comfort with getting in and out of segments and directing conversation that makes episodes like this one stand out, even among NBA player podcasts. He's really in command of the form of this podcast, and it made listening to this episode particularly enjoyable. He's really hosting.
Richard Jefferson is a national treasure. ESPN does not value him as much as they should.
They fired half their staff and he still has a job
@@dkmrap1 And who's left? Malika, Perkins? They fired Van Gundy and Rose who were some of the best analysts they had.
Big facts. Him and JJ make magic on air. I love hearing them go back and forth
@@dimitrijetucovic1307 Perkins staying up Rose going is preposterous.
@@planetceremony9436 Shows how little they care about actual basketball knowledge rather than just hot takes and brainless discussions.
This is the GOAT lineup for an NBA pod. Perfect chemistry, insight and experience between these 3. Absolutely love this. Hope it's a regular lineup!
Leggs digs deep in the water well basketball-wise. Great round table by all three hoopers and analysts...this is a PURE GOLD podcast if you are or have been a hooper.
The GOAT panel. Love this 👍👌👏 need more of this!
Three future hall of fame broadcasters. Y'all are getting me back into watching basketball. Thank you!
The look JJ gave the camera when Rich said Kyle Korver was the best catch and shoot 2 guard in the league in his era 😂😂 51:30
these 3 together are up next. the chemistry, knowledge, humor, etc is all there. TNT gotta sign them up lol.
What a legendary group. Kudos, gents.
I listened to this episode on Spotify, but I had to come here to comment that this is the best episode ever. Please bring this trio more frequently!
Love this combination, I think this is the best combination, what do you think?
Seriously, I listened to the whole thing and I usually just watch the clips
RJ, Tim, AND JJ? Great cast.
facts
We absolutely have to appreciate these folks for how they view and articulate basketball. While still being informative and funny. Greatest trio. Legs & RJ +++
Major networks should be ashamed of themselves for not floating these type of convos to the masses over the course of the past few decades.
Now they’re dying off and these CZcams channels and podcast are the most entertaining because we want to hear about BASKETBALL, not daily gossip about basketball players. Love it. 💯✊🏿💪🏿
Best trio of analysts on ESPN🐐🐐🐐
Such a great lineup having both Legs and RJ on. Would love to see more of them on the podcast, always great insight and entertaining discussions when you get these guys in the same room talking hoop.
Other basketball podcasts are entertaining, but JJ definitely has the most insightful pod
This was such a great conversation. Imagine a convo like this a few times throughout the season. I’d pay to watch this kind of bball content
Honestly, kings warriors is starting down that route. Especially with the way that the season and preseason started for them.
This trio is really good on podcasts hope we have another one like this before the playoffs
RJ + Legs, man you should have these two every other week
If Jokic manages to win another 3 championships, he's definitely making top 10. We have never seen a player like him, ever. He's 28, has a good team, so who knows?
I also feel like his game will age gracefully. He doesn’t rely on athleticism the way other superstars do which will make his dominance more sustainable as he ages deep into his 30’s. If he continues to play anywhere near the level he’s at now for another decade, top 10 won’t even be debate, and he’ll probably be in discussions about top 5.
It also helps that he’s one of the most durable players in the league who never gets hurt or tired. I’m a Suns fan and last Christmas when Ayton was mic’d up there was a clip of him breathing heavy during a timeout in disbelief of Jokic stamina, he said "How, big Jokic look? He can run bro" which surprises me based on Jokic physique he doesn’t strike me as one who can outrun athletic specimens like Ayton. But joker is truly one of a kind
@@zeus4885 Yeah, I feel you. I'm a Lakers fan and he absolutely destroyed us last year on the playoffs. 🤣🤣
It will all come down to how many championships and playoff runs he makes. He's that kind of a player that marks a generation just like Kobe, Jordan, Lebron and Curry did.
He’s definitely top 15-20 for me rn. Another 2 more championships he goes in top 7-10 tbh.
@@EvanPavon212 Bron, MJ, Kareem, Magic, Timmy D, Kobe, Bird, Shaq, Curry, Russell. Who would you swap Jokic out for? Just curious
@zeus4885 I think the fact that he spends alot of time training/playing in Denver, the high altitude gives him an conditioning advantage 🤷🏾♂️
These 3 are a great team. Keep Legler, RJ, & JJ together for a long time. Please.
We all love JJs experience and knowledge, but just wanted to call out how well Tommy greases the wheels to keep the conversation moving and interesting. Good comments, great prompts, really makes the overall show a smooth ride.
I found it weird that Boston and Miami weren't mentioned during the rivalry conversation. We're at like 4 ECF meetings in the last 5 years now and they're all long, tough series. I feel like that should have been worth a mention.
I love this trio!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! more please
What a legendary line up for the pod
This is such a great group. Also, shoutout to JJ matching his shirt to the lampshades 😂
this is the funniest ep yet you guys are CLASSIC
This was awesome. This needs to be a regular thing with you three. I know it kinda happens from time to time with ESPN but ya know it's ESPN. It's like their motto is "If are you aren't screaming at each other you aren't trying" or something so it was nice to just hear three people with the knowledge to do so just talk about basketball.
JJand RJ have the best chemistry, definitely up there with skip and Shannon and the TNT crew
Yea Skip and Shannon... not
That last segment was really passionate and brought out the energy and truth in everyone. Wanted to hear JJ's thoughts tho...
I know your schedules are crazy but a monthly or bi-monthly (hell, even quarterly if you also include the offseason) episode with this line up would be God Tier.
Love this combo, you guys are the best
I've seen someone suggest this before, but have the Road Trippin' crew (RJ, Channing, Allie), and JJ take over as the TNT crew when the guys retire. They have the closest chemistry to them
This trio is the basketball podcast goat combo 🐐
These three making a ball pod together would be game changing
Richard and JJ should have a podcast 🤝🏼
Yall 3 together gotta be your own series/show stop playin us 🔥🏀
Loving this trio! Richard is the perfect complement too these too. He not only is a goofball which is needed. But he has differing opinions and is not only willy ti share them but happy too lol Hope to see much more of you 3!
Wizards fan here. Love Coulibaly. Thanks for highlighting him. Truly the only positive to this season.
I think the argument for chet vs. wemby is super interesting. With chet he's slotting into a team that is already awesome and fits like a glove. Wemby has to learn on the fly and be basically the only guy worth anything on that Spurs team. The coverage Wemby is facing is just so tough. Things are so tight and he has to learn on the fly.
I don't think you can go wrong with either winning ROTY.
Road Trippin' will forever be my favorite podcast!! JJ is insightful but road trippin s entertainment value is closer to inside the nba/steam room.
This is one of my favorite episodes to date. We need more of the 3 of you
The whole spill on Harden from Tim Legler was 💯 spot on, and I’m saying this as the biggest James Harden fan.
This was an awesome roundtable chat...keep this a series please!!
Fantastic video, all 3 guys have great chemistry together! Please make this a regular thing!
This was a great conversation! I would love to see more of JJ, RJ and Legs!👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
This needed to be longer my god it was amazing hearing you guys together
The two guard dig from RJ was crazy 😂😂😂😂😂
This was so enjoyable to watch! More, please!
appreciate the timestamps. it tells me when to pick the ones where RJ speaks the least but excited that this trio came together.
I actually took time out of my day to sit down and listen to this show, rather than having it on in the background while doing my chores/work. Great pod
please have this trio more
This was your best episode. Please make it regular.
JJ and RJ is the real podcast we need lol
Staying locked in again and again and again and again from Uganda, East Africa! Keep up the good work!
This episode was so good! Loved this lineup
Well done 👏🏾. The best show yet. Keep this crew 🙏🏾
So excited to finally listen to this 🙌🏾
Phenomenal episode - great exposition, can't speak about that any more possible.
51:34 LMFAOOO JJs reaction is hilarious 🤣🤣
Can’t tell you how much I love this set up for us basketball junkie’s keep it going JJ 👍🏾
I don't watch podcasts, but I loved this episode via spotify :)
Ty for time stamps, even when I don’t use them it’s nice to see what will be covered in the episode.
Basketball IQ with a special side of sarcasm this episode 😂 top 10 episodes for sure!
Such a good dynamic pod felt like it flew by
Vastly appreciative of the rookie segment and discussions guys.
Awesome trio. Great pod and great convo by 3 likeminded guys who just get it. Love the energy keep it up!
JJ’s shirt perfectly matches those lamps behind him
A big thank you from down under, highly entertaining, ‘love the back handed banter’ and a deeper insight into the NBA than is normally offered in these forums. Please ensure a mid season deep dive occurs with TL and RJ. 👏👏
“Do you come from a land down underrrrr”
Aussie’s love NBA and JjJ offers good insight, tell him to show a bit of love to Aussie players 👍
This was a great podcast. Love listening to all these guys together
What a great conversation. These are the three best analysts in the business. Definitely would like to see more of them talking basketball. 👍
This trio needs to do this weekly pleaseeeee
Really appreciate this episode!
I'm so glad you brought up lu dort shooting good. That man's been working this past off season and the percentage jumps prove it!
The combo I didn’t know I needed
Yeah, you guys found your big 3. Really, their conversation flows well, they compliment each others points, they don't scream over one another neither... MAKE THIS A SHOW.
What a great video. Way more engaging than other podcasts, especially with Legs and RJ.
JJ and RJ need their own segment every other week. I’d hate to make RJ deal with JJ any more frequently than that
Make this trio the regular lineup. It was great
Loved this. Give us some more!
Great content, nuance, and chemistry.
Enjoyed the friendly jabbing at each other as well. The respect you guys have for each other off the screen shines brightly. #GSG!
For the details of basketball JJ you gave the best podcast. Others might be more entertaining but this is by far the most informative
Listen to the fans.... this is the show! Get it done!
legitimately one of the best podcasts yet if not the very best AND this is easily the best trio
Fantastic - great episode! Thanks JJ.
Love this episode. You guys have single handed turned me into a basketball nerd
great line up, also, very pleasantly surprised by some great RJ takes, but great stuff from each and everyone of them
awesome episode, favorite two guests you have in one, thanks jj
this was a sick episode. thank you!
this is my favorite episode of JJ's podcast!
