A Night of Eating, Gambling, and Surfing with Michael Solomonov

- When you ask Michael Solomonov to do a Chef's Night Out, he's going to do something entirely different than anybody else. Mike and his partner, Steven Cook, run CookNSolo, a restaurant group that serves some of the best food in Philly from the kitchens of Zahav, Abe Fisher, Percy Street BBQ, Dizengoff, and Federal Donuts. Mike and his friends, Michael Persico and Jen Carroll, embark on one of the most epic episodes of Chef's Night Out by eating, gambling, eating again and then surfing, all through the night in two different states. We start in Philly at industry favorite Tai Lake for steamed shrimp and clams, then drive to Atlantic City for late night tacos and sopes, gambling at The Tropicana, and Philly cheesteaks with the one and only Tony Luke Jr. of Tony Luke's. What's the best way to rest up after an all nighter of eating and gambling? Surfing, of course. Mike and friends hit the water in Atlantic City and then head back to Philly for early morning donuts and coffee. We're tired just thinking of it.

This guy really couldn't get over the fact they didn't sleep
No joke,I've been awake for 48+hours,several times.........it's called final exams!
+S Wyatt Ugh Exams=SlowDeath
+S Wyatt And good meth
Frog was straight out of Battletoads. Ripped.
This was probably on e of my favorite episodes, It just shows you that you don't need to drink to have a good time. They seemed like a really good group to go our with and get your eat on!
Knowing how to go out and have a great time with friends, and eat great food.
One of the best episode. They are so relax that's crazy...
+SeezyBeats I was lapping the whole episode
i dunno why but this is the happiest chefs night out that ive watched.
this chefs night out was really good! I like how they took breaks doing cool things between eating
Soo good to see Jen outside of being a chef! I can totally see her being mean to him 😂 she’s amazing. Philly love!
Excellent episode. This Chef is Top Tier in Philadelphia. Really enjoyed this. Thank you for sharing this talented episode. Blessings ChefMike
This is one of the my favorite chefs on munchies ever!!! Hilarious awesome chill
This was the chillest episode of chefs night out in awhile
Another Winning Episode' Thanks Munchies You're appreciated.
"First I think think we should open and close the van door tho, just for fun"
**opens and closes van door**
Hahahah the cops escorting then out of the casino in both of those shots is hilarious.
the food looks crazy good.
Even though this is the most sober chefs night out in Munchies history. Its up there with the best of them. Coffee, donuts and waves duuuuude!
I love this, I want to do this in the future.
This was hilarious
did the frog have abs?
I think I saw some abs lol
Wow...so much fun...funny lol lol lol
more of this!
Great episode
Tai Lake is the shit! I go just about every week
Was this a Straight Edge Chef's Night Out? Not complaining, just noticed it.
+Rai Gresham Yeah probably Mike Solomonov is a recovering addict
+Steve Jenkins yeah I started to get that impression off the amount of coffee he was drinking. Hey, and way to show how the other half spends a night out. Don't always have to get trashed to have fun.
+Rai Gresham I noticed that too and I agree with Steve Jenkins. Most likely they are all alcoholics/addicts
+Steve Jenkins just because you don't drink doesn't mean you are a recovering addict
Andy Dobson That's true but in the chef community it's super rare to see a chef that doesn't drink. That's why pretty much every Munchies episode has everyone getting drunk. Also, notice how his two friends weren't drinking as well? It may be because Solomonov is in recovery and they wanted to be respectful.
Surreal and magical...lol lol
open and close the sliding door. such a badass
I prefer to see them party as well. But, this was one of, if not my favorite, episode.
such a good episode
Hahahah werd
my fav one
13:17 was she just standing super still lol tripped me out
New title.-"day in the life of kooks"
everyone was too sober for me to enjoy this
+ilikethingsfromjapan cus your trapped and not happy being sober is 100 times better then being high and i know from experience
@@shandevin5417 you don't cook. I can tell.
@@zacnoel2926 I’ve been a professional chef for eight years now and I am so fucking sick of being an alcoholic. Sobriety sounds incredible.
I don't like the way they treat the living frog...
Well that's just too damn bad
I went to insult you, but, looking at your profile pic, you already said it.
I fix the refrigerators for Panchos... 0_0 It's weird seeing a place you've been too on a show.
All I had to eat today was cereal, coffee and biscuits. I'm really sad.
I've had 3 bags of crisps and a brownie, hoping for pizza later.
Pizza? I hate you so much right now.
+Francisco Santiago update: I had pizza.
Im gonna start cataloging all these restaurants so I can go and try them
+Xavier Toussaint LOL i have been! theres too many!
+Xavier Toussaint Yeah, that kahav place (or whatever its called) looked pretty good. Wouldn't mind trying that out.
Chill with the commercials
Mike Solomonov the kinda snob who hates mayonnaise, but loves aioli.
Mayonnaise and Aioli are two totally different things. It's like blaming someone for loving apples, but hating pears.
Both are egg yolk and oil emulsions. Nowadays, the two terms get interchanged so often they mean the same thing.
I grew up in AC and this made me a little homesick. I miss tacos de lengua...
at 1:50 he says he whips his tahini with ice water. Why does he uses ice water? is it something tastewise or does it have an influence on the smoothness? thank you!
Kosher style pork and clams? Am I missing something here?
+mart3h his restaurant is kosher "style"/israeli so non-kosher foods is a nice break from that
Hey, it's Jen from Top Chef.
and then they did aaaaal the coke in the world
I thought I was awkward when it comes to hand shake, but damn this guy is extra lol
From Africa with love
holy crap it's Jennifer Carroll
Anyone else notice how the same security guards were walking with them the entire time they were leaving the casino. I think they got escorted out XD
does anyone know how long this guy was awake for all the filming?
that frog in the beginning has nicer abs than me
It was a mistake to watch this hungry, I'm gonna go eat everything brb.
Literally caught a highlight of this guys mid-life crisis on camera. :D
not sure why this is getting so many down votes. looks like a good time with some good homies to me.
He said fuck alot
If I go into a Chinese Restaurant the first thing I'm ordering is General Tso Chicken with Pork Fried Rice. Fuck that sea game.
what a long night
lol its worth a shot
So they were high on sugar the entire time from the gummy worms?
probs the most idealistic night
Круто 😁👌
I hope you didn’t hurt the frog Michael
The guy had Maxson's coat from Fallout 4
If only he'd flown out of the open van door.
+ucdcrush That would have been awesome! As long as he didn't die or get seriously injured
why did that frog have better abs than me
i want a doco on pancho's!
Wait how long were they awake for?
_Greetings Everyone!_
Why is everyone complaining? His hosting is fine.
Aww how sweet your blondie friend os a sweetheart
That frog has a six pack.
Anybody else think this guy looks like nick Jonas in ten years?
one of the most misleading titles when it comes to the actual content.
i just came here for pancho's tacos
1 decent ride?
ice cream headaches
surf 1 wave in warm water, Hawaii
you'll throw away wet suit and relocate
can someone tell me how many times he says fuck
im from europe i always thought philadelfia looks like its always sunny in phily
btw you can eat healthier and tastier
wheres the booze? usually everybody is so fucking hammerd in these, but not in this one. waited the whole video when they bring out the booze and start drinking :D
Y’all saw how she threw the snake in the bag???
I'm sure the frog enjoyed being shook around in a dry box and being stuck in people's faces. I eat meat but show a little compassion.
i think this is the farthest and (probably?) longest night in this series. what were those security guards following them leaving the casino?
did you know he was awake for 24 hours...
Yo how long was this guy awake for again??
Whats up with the god damn static in the background through the whole episode? Was your audio person drinking all the alcohol the chefs would normally down? Pretty solid otherwise.
poor frog
tacos
should been Chef's Day out
They don't drink ?
Where is the beer?
Although Kazakhstan a glorious country, it have a problem, too: economic, social, and Jew.
FUCKING KOOK!
They're called sopes bruh
OPEN THE DOOR.
low audio
kosher style shrimp, oysters and pork.
More braydon szafranski
He reminds me of lil dicky just his personality
Hmm no shots or any booze? Still a cool episode though

+Sol Fayerman-Hansen hansen ur alright man ur alright good job
+ADAM arafan thanks man that means a lot coming from you.
How could they go down to Atlantic City and get sandwiches from anywhere that isn't White House?
Yo were they awake for 24 hours??
