hey sorry if this was asked and answered but do my friends need to install forge and mods to use them or do they get them automatically when i add them to the realm?
depends on if its a clients side mod (graphics ect)
for ones that modify items in-game like advanced netherite, yes they will need to. theyll need to download forge alongside your mods (theyll need to do what you did basically)

You dont need to do any lf these world backup/upload procedure to use client side mods in a realm, either you're the owner or not.
Just download Forge, your mods, (the usual thing), and play in the realm.

Yes. I hope Minecraft java will allow adding server side mods to realms someday !
@@samysmusicbox7084 yea someday. There are servers you can buy for the same price as a realm and ofc add server sided mods, but it’s harder for the average players tbh.

No I would not work.
I am not sure about plugins.
For realms, only client side mod works, so not everyone needs to add it to their folders.
when i try to place a window from the mod it disappears, how do i fix this ?

Do not extract the zip, right click and open it with java binary, in case it doesnt work just uninstall all of the forge and java versions and try again
So Im trying to get pixelmon on my realm and the first strategy isnt working and for the second strategy it only goes up to 1.20.2 , anything I can do about that?
I’m not sure about pixelmon on a realm, but if you want to try it for 1.20.2 then your forge version has to be that as-well.
im assuming it only works w/ plugins, as realms are still minecraft servers
i only installed mouse tweaks and falling trees the mouse tweaks works fine in the realm but falling trees only work in singleplayer do you know how i could fix it?
same issue for falling trees mod, and also i cant find any backpack mod which could work in my realm. I tried Travelers Backpack - not working, i Tried Packed Up - not working. Seems like many mods works perfectly in singleplayer but in realms simply dont work.
Maybe because this way doesn't works on relams?

im in the 1.20.6 it worked, but when I put any object of the mod in my inventory the realm closes idk why, it works because in crative mode the mod objects are there but it logs me out, but in singleplayer works well
