This is a super detailed video which took a lot of thoughts to do a fair comparison of both cultures. I hope you liked it! Our house is right on the highway (yes, the view is beautifu, but there is noise from the traffic), so sorry for the background noise!

It's more like parents don't want to let children go and do things on their own rather than children holding onto their parents, parents are wayyyy too overoprotective and its really difficult to go againt them for your dreams especially when they tag you with labels such as selfish, greegy and not being loyal to your nation, etc if you want to go abroad for studiying or for a job.

They always answer in yes or no. Never try to reply diplomatically or never try to avoid answering somethng. They plan well in advance and give you enough time to complete a task. Never last minute rush. will never call you on holidays or after ofc hours. The work culture is very different and adds to efficiency.

The reason there's a problem with cleanliness is only because of a lack of proper rule of law and it's enforcement. That's it. Most Indians themselves are very clean and per capita waste dumping is very low. India has a terrible judicial and police system. Once that's fixed and properly in place, you will see a massive improvement. I wish the govt. was doing something about it.
The point with independence from early age is very important. In India, the education system, the job market and the poverty hangover are the big reasons why so many parents till now have been so obsessed with moulding their kids into engineers, doctors, etc. and what not. That is getting easy as India is getting richer. It's not a real cultural thing technically. It's the outcome of having very few opportunities thx to impoverishment.
Loved the video. Hope both countries keep improving in the areas they need to do so in

Freedom comes with material wealth. This restriction on freedom culture in India is thx to edu system, job market and poverty hangover. You have to be this, this or that. Most of India is suffering from lack of opportunities due to impoverishment thx to last few centuries. Even in mughal period, 60% of the gdp was captured in the hands of just 655 individuals in India. Can you imagine that ? That's so terrible. Massive inequality. So, almost everyone was poorer than the avg. people in some European countries even in that time when India was still the richest country. This feudalism was terrible. Then, British raj extracted that wealth also. Then, we got an incompetent and corrupt govt for decades that made it worse. Thx to 90s reforms forces by IMF&World Bank, we got better and present govt. is not corrupt and much better but it's still not brought enough institutional changes. We need educational, judicial, police administrative systems to be thoroughly reformed and changed.
Anyway, I hope we do that.

About bad internet in Germany: do they have different tiers? I mean if you pay more can you get better internet? I live in the US and like almost everything here, if you are willing to pay more, you can get good internet. I've had 1 GBps internet (Fiber Optics) since many years but it is also quite expensive (but I need that for work). The bad point here is that this kind of price model exists for everything including healthcare which you get for free or almost free in many EU countries.

I am saying as I spent 2 years in USA and 2 years in Uk but I didn't like their family or personal lives I feel family oriented system is best specially taking care of elders and parents when they need in old age. Kids growing up in good environment where they respect elders is better.
