Thank you Steve! I used to own the original ID (I regretted selling it a few years after getting the original run when I went into mentalism only. Big mistake! Should never have sold it!). I can assure anyone that this new Vanishing Inc version is 99.999% perfect and in some ways slightly exceeds the wonderful original because of the new handy carry case + much more detailed setup/care & maintenance tips! I give it five out of five stars. The original was a collectors piece and beautiful hunk of kit - and this re-do is perfection!
    It also hits hard.

Hey thanks loads. Really helpful as I don't have the original.

I had the original which I bought directly from Jaimie himself. It was supplied with a ready made card case and a little mini sword to put through the box. Jaimie is one of the nicest guys in magic but unfortunately the trick just wasn’t for me.

As good as this is made, i believe this type of thing is falling into the same category as the "dynamic coin". Like you said, simpler versions of this are sold to layman in joke shops so some people you would perform this to might know how its done.

Oh I haven't seen anything like this is a normal shop. This was a juggling shop and a magician had one.

I have the wooden one too. Good but only good - not as good as the heavy metal original. It is the HEFT and incredible solid steep WEIGHT that hits the brain & senses of the spectators hard. So instead of feeling like a puzzle (wood version) this one (IR) feels way more impossible

Your intro illustrates why this trick needs a clever routine. This one is rubbish or genius, all depending on the presentation.
