Eeveelutions are unbreakable investments that have no flaws. Time and time again, Eeveelutions continuously seem to be growing in value, and no matter what, Eeveelutions grow in value.
Eevee and its six evolutions are all incredibly popular, each with an enormous dedicated fanbase and millions of fans falling in love with them. Now, while fans all love them, it's getting incredibly apparent that they seem to be bulletproof when it comes to them as Pokemon Investments.
The Sword & Shield Era blessed us with some incredible Eevee Alternate Arts. Evolving Skies was essentially an Eevee set with its unique artworks, though lately, the prices have been great!

I can´t really imagine a future in which Eevee and Eeveelutions aren´t popular, especially not after Evolving Skies. So yeah, I think they will remain sought after collectibles and are, depending on the timing and price, good investments

No one pays market prices, though..the true "market value price is 65%-75% of whatever the graph "indicates is market price"
I personally purchased the Jolteon VMAX Premium Collection about 3 months back, there were 2 left in New Zealand from LGS's. AWESOME product. I opened it based solely on my love / want for the Jolteon VMAX Card and Pack Selection. It was a tough one that I thought about sitting on, but I just do not see that card in a 10 dropping for less than what I paid for the Collection itself at any point so opened it up. The Jolteon V too is beautiful but just has 2 slight little print errors, had that of been clean I'd of been STOKED. Eeveelution products are extremely popular, a fail safe investment at least,
Love your videos man, do you think the japanese promo Espeon VMAX is a good investment? PSA 10 prices are around $220usd so Im thinking if its a good time to pick one up now

Collecting these eeveelutions frustrated me. I genuinely really wanted to collect these as a new collector coming back into the hobby since my childhood. I had bought the Jolteon V from TCG player right before the spike and my card never arrived. I assume the seller kept it and took the loss to sell the card at a higher price. Then I won an eBay auction on the Flareon V right at the beginning of the spike and got it at a great deal. The seller came back to me and said it wasn’t available and didn’t realize his listing was still up. Luckily I received my money back in both cases but bummed that I have to buy these cards at a premium price now compared to when I originally did.

How ever i do have a small tip for you. Buy the trainer gallery cards Jolteon, Flareon and Vaporeon with gary on them.
I know they are not a moonbreon or the big cards but, for 10 bucks you have them all 3.

I was lucky to snag those trainer gallery cards a few months ago for pretty cheap. They are my favorite trainer gallery cards for eeveelutions and pretty underrated.
Great work Phil, as always. The Eevee evolutions are extremely popular and often get incredible artwork that you'll want to have in your collection. It's a shame about the timing of your sales. But that's the market, we never stop learning.

I totally agree with you! I really do think that some of the Eeveeloution cards from Sword & Shield (Trainer Galleries and VSTAR cards) are really a good investment and will continue to increase in price as we get farther away from the Sword & Shield Era. Any thoughts on any cards you would invest more in personally?
My take on Eeveelutions.
The Moonbreon is not 800 dollar nice. Other Umbreon cards look better.
Evolution alt art is highly underrated cards my opinion on the price is 100$ plus ❤evolution alt art 🔥💯
Got all the VMAX in a PSA 10! Bought them a few months ago just before they all went on a rocket ship. The Black Star Promo VMAX's in PSA 10 are expensive due to hard to grade.

I like the presentation. I understand the pain regarding the glaceon and sylveon vmax. This isn’t the same but I sold the magikarp from Paldea because the surface wouldn’t have graded a 10. I sold it for $55 and literally a week later, it started climbing. I checked yesterday and it was at $142. We can’t get them all right. We take the loss and move on.
These things will always happen. I have learned we all have a story like this.

It is very new that they are SO OUT OF CONTROL
And it is mostly the modern versions of them, if you look at vintage the past few month, or even year, there is not really any movement. That makes me believe that it is new people, coming in and really liking the cards, but also the price associated with it. Rigth now there is ton of speculation from new people on the new products that are fomo buying. I do believe that the speculation in modern will, at some point, go into vintage, or even the more niece cards that we have in pokemon.

I have a few Pokemon that I sort of view as pretty much *always* good investments. Those include the original three (especially Charizard), Pikachu, Lugia, Mew/Mewtwo, and the Eeveelutions. Of course others will pop up due to amazing artwork (ex Magikarp), sudden popular appeal/demand (Greninja for example), and hype, but I feel as though the above mentioned are nearly always seen as chase cards in the past 20 years.
Thoughts on eevee cards? I feel they’re fairly undervalued for being the predecessor of the eeveelutions that are skyrocketing
I picked up a trio of PSA 10 original Eeveelutions from the Japanese Vmax Climax set (with Blue in the artwork) - I'm looking as a collector and not an investor but I cant wait to pick up the matching Pikachu with Red 😍
I really like the Eeveelutions, buuut I don’t want another for a maybe silly reason. Most binders are 9-card pages so it’s perfect right now to stick an Eevee in the middle then surround it with all the evolutions. I have a page of all the ES full arts around the Twilight Masquerade Eevee and it’s perfect!
do you only see the popularity with english cards or with japanese as well ?
I have the fusion strike Espeon and had no idea it’s so expensive now. Same with the Umbreon V from evo.
What do you think about the evolutions from Crown Zenith? Would they be worth investing in now while they’re low

@@newjones1754 It would just degrade the authenticity of the eeveelutions! Better to create them in certain sets and leave them be. Otherwise too many of them across many era's would deflate their value and appreciation.
sealed is the best just look at Rudy! I don't think anyone made as much money as him in SWSH with just singles

I have all of the eeveelution alt arts. I have a lot of alts but the eeveelutions are my favorites and luckily I bought the ones I didn't pull before they exploded. And I have to disagree I think the glaceon vmax is way better than the leafeon vmax. The sylveon and espeon are too imo
I paid 140 Canadian for my first Espeon VMAX and $160 for my second lol. Never selling but damn what a W

Do you think that prize pack cards are necessary for a master set? I completed evolving skies a while back and I’m getting all the cosmo holos and non holos they made at later dates but I’m seeing the evolving skies league stamp cards and there are so many but some are very expensive, and some there isn’t more than 1 listing
Depends on the collector. That would be more of a masterset + version imo.
I usually view Mastersets as all cards + promo cards. Prize packs isn't really needed to confirm master set.

Personally, im waiting on these. If you look at tcgplayer there are some under the market average right now. So some are already going back down. Dont think they will be back to original prices butttt they could be 10-15% above it and thats better than now cause some of these doubled.
I own most of them but the one I got lucky with was the leafeon vmax bought it at 165 a month later it was like 250 now it’s 3 something was gonna buy the glaceon vmax as well but missed out on that one.

Hey, i dont do youtube but u should watch the video i just posted. Psa damaged 1 of my cards, then gave me 17 out of 19 psa 10s on a bunch of harder to grade english SV SIRs and IRs, like groudon, raichu, ect. Really peculiar psa submission.
I’m not going to bother with these I think. I’ll just wait for the inevitable SIRs they’ll do if these guys. It’s just a matter of time.
Also nothing wrong with a 9! Especially with how little difference there typically is between the condition of a 9 and a 10.
But will they just end up reprinting the sets with alt eeveelutions?
