  • In this video, I review the Ugly Stik Elite Spinning Rod. I give my opinion on both its durability and its sensitivity. This rod is one of the most popular fishing rods on the market because of its durability and price. Overall, it is a great rod for live bait fishing!

    This is the exact setup I use, except I've got the 6'6" rod. Love it so much I've got two of 'em. Had 'em both for years and they're still going strong

    I have the same rod in the same spec and I’d say that was a damn accurate review. Check out the Shakespeare ugly stik lite pro I’ve found is a bit more sensitive the elite and the lite pro are my #1 and #2 rods also paired with pfluger presidents.and they catch plenty👍

    I've the same rod with a Pfuegler President on it along with the 8 lb Big Game Trilene mono. I find the sensitivity is great and I've gotten both huge northern pike and walleyes using it. I'd recommend this rod to anyone. I've also the Ugly Stik Lite Pro which I've had for over 20 years and its still solid. Love both!

    Hi everyone, I'm recently tried an ugly stik and I love it! My question is...which one should I get? I jear good things about the 7, Medium.
    The thing is, I'm short, just 5', so should I get a smaller one? Also, would an Ultra light be too light?
    I mostly fish in the flats and bay.
    Thanks in advance!

    • @prestonnormile9996
      @prestonnormile9996 Před 4 lety

      The 7' medium is a great choice. If you fish flats, you can get away with a taller rod, since you have alot of open space.
