- Have you been looking for an alternative to a gas powered generator, but not sure if it will be able to power what you need? The EcoFlow Delta 1300 which is available at Costco for $799 may be the perfect choice. I tested this unit to see it could handle running my mobile detailing business. This unit is rated at 1260wh and produces 1800watts of continuous power with a 3300watt peak. I put this little power station up against pressure washers, air compressors, shop vacuums, and even heat guns to see what I could expect from the EcoFlow Delta.. and I have to say, I was pleasantly suprised... ENJOY!!!

After reading many reviews and watching a lot of videos, I chose this option for my first backup power station. czcams.com/users/postUgkxHypYDKHAN93Lp2RQpfvU_ksc70wJ00pt I was between this and a larger option that could power a wider range of items, but the price/size/capacity blend seemed right for this unit. Hasn't gotten a ton of use yet, but the build quality is solid and it charges fine via the Rockpals solar panel I purchased to pair with it. One thing to note is that the screen is optimized for a top down viewing angle, which makes sense, but this means it washes out at other angles - especially low angles. Not a huge deal, but perhaps a better option for the display could be used to provide wider viewing angles.
Running a couple of these in parallel with a solar panel could make this a viable in a mobile application.
I Use the bluetti ac300 max. Love being the quietest detailier on the block.
how does that workout for you. wat do you run of it
@@josequiroz4605 it works great. I run a pressure washer and pump, a vacuum and steamer, air compressor. And adding solar panels to my van to increase the work time.
@K00kieMonster100 how does that work out before you have to recharge
@@josequiroz4605 i can do a full detail steamer, extractor, vac, washer, pump for 4-6hours and end on 5%. or i can do about 4 maintenance details before i need to charge. but i charge up every night.
What other equipment do you run for quietness? I'm the same way and want to be as quiet as possible
Finally a video with solar powered generator
Interesting to know as would be great for mobile detailing as a space saver over my large Predator gas unit. I have seen the EGO Power station in use and the advantage with it is the removable batteries (it holds 4).
Fantastic experiment. Thank you.
I have always wanted you to demo inverter generators!
I guess is a good life saver situation. Too expensive rn for my new detailing business, I will keep in mind tho
Thanks Josh 🙂👍🏼
Awesome. Imaging using EcoFlows bigger units you would have a great setup for mobile pressure washing. Just setting this up with a mobile trailer can power everything and with solar on the trailer your refueling as you go!
This guy is awesome 🙏
You should check out BLUETTI AC200MAX a little more pricey than ecoflow, but out performs exponentially.
Would love to see one of your vids taking it for a spin!
Love the content
Great Video!
Get the Delta pro and , mouth solor panels on your mobile van. And if your in a pinch the delta pro can even be charged at ev charger with the adapter.
Then sill great portable unit for camping too.
Thanks for the "follow-up' Video. . . it was very helpful. . .
if you ever do another one of these videos, can you try connecting an "Electric Blanket" to see if the power station will hold up? . . THANKS!
Good test but I’m curious to see how much longer it would last if you had solar panels connected to it.
yes I have the delta pro model and I can wash/detial 2-3 cars
Would you recommend it for doing your vehicle washing at your home when you don’t have power for pressure washer, vacuum, and blower for drying?
You can also blink more than one battery together
love this channel. real life situations/scenarios! i live in nyc and very obviously don't have a garage or a convenient power outlet. definitely gonna check this out, especially with costco's satisfaction guarantee. gotta clean my car somehow!!!
Yea since it’s Costco it’s a no brainer with their return policy!
Me too now I know I can run the main tools like the vac, blower, and polisher in a self serve car wash or in my parking lot to do some weekend warrior cleaning 🧼. 👍👍
I have the Jackery explorer 1500 and I only had been tested with the vacuum and a drill it holds very well
Can it do air compressor and vacuum at the same time
8:44 was only pulling 450w with no resistance. if there were any resistance I’d imagine it would jump up in watts pulled significantly.
Would like to see this but with the Ecoflow delta pro.
Looks like you're safe running one a thing at a time. Great info Josh!
Thanks 👍
Can I use a portable vacumm extractor?
This is fine and good but to test it you need to load it up try using while it is plugged into to a large Dometic cooler and a seat/ rug blower and then ets see how UHC power is being used under old.
Do you have reviews on ar blue pressure washers? More so the lower range one
Were u able to use ur mjjc foam cannon with the active with no problems still?
I bought this during the pandemic 8/2020……power went out, but it could not power our fridge which is what I was looking for….
Another excellent video Josh. How quiet is this unit and how long does it fully charge this?
Full charge was about an hour and half or so. There a light hum when charging, otherwise zero noise!
I have a delta max 2400 watt and I tried to run my at blue clean 630 and won’t work. How could you get it to work with the kranzla? Please help
Whats good Josh! Very nicely done showcase of the Delta! I agree with your opinion, it is great for what it does, but for commercial use has more draw backs than benefits 🤔 I actually made a showcase of the Delta Pro on my channel and it has a similar experience, just more beefy. 🤣Other than that, nice video Josh! Keep up the good work!
@cardoscardose can you explain the drawbacks please
Can you add an extra battery?
If you run power inverter to your van you charge it as you go down the road
👍👍👍
Solar Panel
Charge it as you travel between Details
Looked at a varietyy of these. If these dont recommend you can leave them plugged in all the time like other brands can do. I guess that would be a bummer.
Theres Bigger but heavier. Up to 70lbs but 2500Watts!
The deltra pro is 3600w continuous but like 90lbs
Mount solar panels on roof 👌 🙌
Exactly what I was going to say. I got the same unit on black Friday deal, came with a portable 110w solor panel. Works pretty good. I definitely bump up to big solor panels for a permanent setup. Based what the max setting are for what ever unit he ends up with.
How about a heat gun
I have the Delta Pro and it won't run my AR Blue 630tss 😢
Does it make the ar630 hum? It will fire on the delta just needs to calibrate to that power
I want to upgrade to one of these rather than have a gas generator.
Try a steamer!
Just buy two and have two in car.
These types of products are wonderful and can be used in a whole variety of scenarios. However, not having even a single 3 prong grounded outlet is enough of a limitation for me to have to pass on this particular unit. Good real world use scenarios though Josh 👍👍👍
All 6 works for triple prong if you look closely for where the ground pin goes. FYI the unit is battery powered so grounding is not really possible. You *can* get a grounding adapter and then run a wire to a ground source. But yeah think bro.
As Commiefornia begins to ban gas generators, we will eventually have to buy one of these. But when the next big EQ happens or any CA brownouts, I'd still keep a Honda gas generator available for emergencies.
I can never finish watching your video dude loud and annoying voice and too fast
