- Greatest Muay Thai coach of our generation. He produced legendary fighters such as Saenchai, Lerdsila, Somrak, Silapathai, and Kaoklai. These are just a few of the legendary strikers coached by him during the golden era of Muay Thai at Jocky Gym. They were all untouchable, with a very distinct evasive style backed by great fundamentals and boxing. With such a great team, they became the #1 Muay Thai camp in Thailand. This is Pipa Jocky Gym's story.

"We lacked an education, we didn't know much. But when it comes to Muay Thai, we've got Master's degrees." 🥺

Pipa the Popeye eheh Looks like an amazing Trainer, patient, technical, understanding and kind! 😊
hit me too, stopped the video and came here to see if someone else point it out
Thanks for letting him speak the whole time, far too many times CZcamsrs needs to put their opinions, but u just let him speak his story, much appreciation 🤟
Pipa is great at sharing his story :)
i though the same thing: top decision to skip the commentary
Lawrence is the OG, he got more respect to fighters than all other CZcamsrs combined, probably.
@@ltroy_sw thanks for the support man!!
@@LawrenceKenshin welcome you are. Thank you for your videos! I won't lie if I say that you are my favorite CZcams videomaker! Keep it up!
@4:00
Muay Khao (มวยเข่า) = boxer who main on kneeling.
Muay Mat (มวยหมัด) = boxer who main on punching.
Muay Femur (มวยฝีมือ) = Skilled boxer who rely on speed and technique. (such as Samart,Somrak, Sanchai, Lerdsila)
opposite side of Muay Femur is Fighter style like Rambo, Rodtang, Buakaw. which rely on power and strength.
thanks for sharing!
Muay Sok = boxer who utilizes elbow strikes (i think)
Muay Dtae = boxer who's focused more on kicks
"I use my scars to teach."
That's a powerful statement. Great job as always, Lawrence 👊🏿🥊.
He's so good that recently he put me to fight in rajadamnnern stadium, the man has made so many champions
yes he's incredible trainer!
Congratulations for your accomplishments, professional fighting is a path full of potential woe.
This is truly a heartwarming video for all martial artists
thank you kobe
Thanks for making this. Pipa is such a great man, we were lucky to have him stay in Melbourne with us for three months and was a time I'll never forget.
@Rebellion Muay Thai I’m from Melbourne too, used to train. You guys been putting on some amazing fights💪. PS. Wow, when was Pipa in Melbourne? Would’ve been amazing experience 3 months
thank you for watching brother
@@PHATT_TV Thank you mate, 2014 he was here at my gym Willam Street Gym. best three months, such a great man.
@@RebellionMuayThai must've got so many great stories
*Lerdsila, Saenchai, Silapathai, Chaowalit, Kaoklai, Somluck…*
A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.
Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.
🔥🔥
Add Dany Bill to that awesome list.
I met pipa in Bangkok. He is the funniest most delightful guy I've ever met
love his energy
Humans of Fighting has been killing it with their interviews and sharing of combat sports knowledge.
HOF is the best!
I was fortunate to have many a meal with pipah in my short time in Thailand years ago. Glad you showcased this man's immense knowledge of the sport
that's awesome, what did you guys eat?
@@LawrenceKenshin whatever he was cooking after training and some cheap Thai whisky

I always wanted you to make something about Jocky Gym. So many good fighters come from there ... Thank you Lawrence. Keep the work going on 👍
thanks for tuning in!
Thanks for making this video. I was lucky and had the privilege to have Lerdsila as a Kru when he lived in California for a few years. I was a beginner back then, but so many of his techniques and teachings have stayed with me and I’ve blended them with other styles of Muay Thai I’ve learned. 🙏🏼
Wow! I had the pleasure of training with him in Phuket in 2014 I learned so much, such an amazing coach!!
🙏🙏
I've been lucky to train some good fighters.
I also really appreciated when he said a trainer can only get you so far, the fighter's own discipline and fight IQ has to do the rest.
Yes a great trainer is a big piece of the puzzle but only one piece
Life goals! If I can be 1/20 of a teacher like this legend, that'd be a major success for me.
Another heartwarming Muay Thai Video 🥲🥲🥲
❤️❤️
Even though he's not a fully fledged teacher in the educational system, he knows what its like to be one. I commend him for his efforts in teaching his students.
A professor!
Great video. Made me appreciate my gym and trainers all the more.

Hey about a Video that topics the different fighting styles of Muay Thai?
Btw I love your videos❤
Thanks for the idea! Was in the pipeline, might move it up
@@LawrenceKenshin the recent Superbon vs Grigorian is a master class on Muay Te. looking like a Buakaw clone
I also like Petchtanong vs Akimoto. Petch completely destroyed the ex champ even he is much older. I’d like to watch your video about this bout
@@aminoOK petch is great!
GREAT video
Thank you Bruce
REAL MASTER AND BETTER PERSON !!!!!
What is Thai trainer gym name? I’m heading to Thailand soon, a fledgling pro fighter, only 3 fights. I love his mentality
Love how he see’s them as his children
Thanks for the video glhf
gg!
Absolutely incredible stable of fighters. Each of them should be 10x more famous in the west for their skill level.
The fact that he prefers silapathai should speak volumes as he is probably one of his lesser known fighters. Time for some research!
yes they should be so much more famous
Great content. Really deserves more views but I guess people like watching KOs.
Muay thai is a beautiful sport ❤️
Has anyone here ever done rice planting?I had a friend whose Mother had a padi field, asked if I'd like to help out one day about 17 years ago,so I did one morning for 4 hours before it got to hot and they stopped for the day.... I was in pretty good shape But when his mother asked if I wanted to go out again later once it got cooler I couldn't get out of bed because I felt totally drained and my friends mother was in her 50s at the time and did twice as much as I'd accomplished yet after a lie down goes back out again later...... rice farmer's are tough.
I would describe these guys as like the Floyd Mayweathers of Muay Thai. To hit and not get hit. If you want a long illustrious fighting career it just makes sense to fight like these guys. I’m only really familiar with Lerdsila and Saenchai. But did they all sort of train at Jocky Gym around the same time. He said that they all sort of had their own IQs, did they also feed off of each other? I have to watch more of Silapathai 😅. He was dancing around the ring like Muhammad Ali.
they're the best!
Check for Samart, Somrak, Danny Bill, Sagat.
@@nestorarcilaosorio2457 I know of Samart. Supposedly the greatest fighter in the Golden era. I asked Lawrence if his style would be considered a Muay Femur though he had a successful boxing record as well.
Does Pipa teach in Skarbowsky gym in Thailand? I believe it used to be the jockey gym
A Wise Man
yes he is!
my man casually said he taught saenchai and lerdsila...

Please can you do a breakdown in memory of Anthony 'Rumble' Johnson or Jason David Frank. Thank you.

Muay Thai is not easy, It's about painful.
I've heard 2-3 Kru Muay Thais say that
Yes it really is
Where does he teach now?
Noti gang where ya at
what?
6:40 is that GSP's drunken muay thai coach? 😆
👍🏻😂
I think you missed translated one part. When you right "femur" style. It actually mean professional. He talking about how him and his college are muai Thai professional by trade.
Which gym does he coach at?
marrok currently
Undisputed for sure
