I love those colors on things made in the 60s and 70s. It's like in technicolor or something, very distinct. My grandma gave me an old cookbook from the late 60s and the color pictures look and feel amazing. Do you ever look in old cookbooks? The recipes are also crazy. They cooked with soda in foods a lot for some reason. 7up pork chops, orange soda in fruit salads, etc. Nice video.

The pictures of food in old menus at restaurants also had that color tone. A lot of department stores had a cafeteria or lunch counter, and the food would be on signs with that color tone. I have to wonder if there was some old marketing research that believed those earth tones used in offset printing made the food look more desirable. When I see those pictures of spaghetti, it turns my stomach.

Who the heck criticizes your old basement utility sink? They're great for things you'd rather keep out of your bathroom or kitchen. Then they complain about you water usage to, when there are far bigger wastes of water that only benefit a single person, if that. Looking at it another way, mainstream movie and media production are far more wasteful, even if looked at on a per viewer basis.
Some people lead such a sheltered and jaded life that they complain about the most inane things they have little understanding of.

When I was a kid I visited the plant where those sardines were packed. It was a conveyor belt that went around in a circle loaded with sardines. Women sat every couple of feet with razor sharp scissors cutting the heads and tails off. Most of them were missing finger tips and all of them had Band-Aids on. They got paid $0.05 a tin if I remember correctly.
