Hey I just want to say that when my 12 year old daughter and I found your channel almost 2 years ago it became sort of a family bonding time watching your videos. We have been fans for a long time and I was genuinely happy to see how many subscribers you have gotten in this time. So happy for you and thanks for all you do and don't ever stop.

I'm a personal shopper for a local grocery chain. I saw that very same box of Bell's Seasoning for the first time just yesterday. I had never even heard of it before it popped up on my list. The box looks exactly the same today.
Not sure why, but I love your videos! Something about opening old cans of food is so neat. I think part of it is nostalgia and the fact they have been sitting around so long, it's like we return to the past when they are opened.🙂
If your ever in Tennessee you should check out the town of dandridge. It is the home of bush beans. They have a neat tourist store with history can exhibits and info.
Why was it such a mystery to you what was in that Del Monte can?? It says Zucchini in big letters on the front. The small print is what said 'Italian style with tomato sauce'.

I bet the fruit cocktail that was not too be sold or exchanged was probably part of the older government food programs they had that were just simply labeled and unbranded.
It's interesting to think of these cans, waiting with their contents from xx years ago. It's fun to imagine that these haven't seen the light of day for so long ...
Bro.. i love watching your vids because i share the genuine curiosity in what old canned food looks like.. but this video actually made my stomach churn.. especially when you just hand first into the slop sink. Your immune system must be off the charts strong. Keep up the good work though!
My grandpa passed away in 2019 and had a can similar to the unmarked one on the left sitting in his garage. It turned out to be beans and had an expiration date of 1974!
Speaking of sisters, when I was a teenager I would cut off the labels of some of the cans in our house and tape them on different cans. One day, my sister thought she was opening a can of Spaghettios but it was actually green beans LOL!!! She said "Oh no !!! What is this?" 😄🤣😄🤣
That green can of fruit cocktail was from an early 2000s usda commodities box. I can remember my grandmother getting the same exact cans when I'd visit.
Out of all old food and old cans/packaging I like to see.. my favorite is early 2000s packaging. That was my childhood and early 2000s isn't too different compared to now but I love the look of that time's packaging and how things were kinda different back then compared to now.
The Del Monte canned zucchini was still available at retail as of a few years ago (though it was never easy to find/widely stocked). I absolutely loved that stuff as a side-dish with chicken. I feel bad that a can of such deliciousness went to waste. 😥
I do have some empty food cans which are still sealed, even some empty chocolate boxes. These where given to shop owners for display by the companies...back when there were still small shops with store windows around.

These cans from the early 2000s aged worse than the cans from the 1960s
Well you know what they say, they don’t make ‘em like they used to. Stuff is made as cheaply as possible now.
