Michael Stewart is not pulling the wool over my eyes he was not a great footballer by any standard but made a good living and played for his country. He is clearly Jambo and criticises anyone and any team including Hearts with much enthusiasim in recent years and has no Old Firm bias so blatantly clear in all radio, papers and tv in Scotland and certainly doesnt show obvious bias against Rangers.
Sectarian bosses at BBC Scotland? It seems to me they employ more non Old Firm fans on their shows than any other TV football network which always seem to have openly biased Rangers and Celtic fans even if neither is playing.
As for Alex Ferguson hes spoken openly that he felt rejected by Rangers after being blamed for Billy McNeil opening the scoring after 3 minutes in a 4-0 humping in the 1969 Scottish Cup Final and was then forced to train and play for the reserves. He was never forgiven at Ibrox and he never forgot how he was treated and when manager of Aberdeen made that team the rival to Celtic and made Rangers a mid table team in the 1st half of the 80s competing for Europe or finishing behind St Mirren, Hearts or Dundee Utd in the league.
I believe had Ferguson not done what he done at Pittodrie Souness would not have replaced Jock Wallace.

Sky apologises over Morelos interview translation
Sky has apologised to Celtic and Rangers over “inaccuracies” in the translation of an interview given by Alfredo Morelos. The Rangers striker was reported to have said in a Sky Sports News interview conducted in Spanish that he had experienced racism during his time in Scotland. But Celtic questioned the accuracy of a translation that claimed he had accused home fans of shouting racist abuse at him at Parkhead on 29 December.
Sky responded to Celtic’s call to investigate the translation, saying in a statement: “We have identified inaccuracies in the translation of Sky Sports News’ interview with Alfredo Morelos. We apologise to both Celtic and Rangers as well as Alfredo Morelos for the issues caused by these errors.
“After numerous steps undertaken by Sky to verify the interview thoroughly we can be clear that at no point did Morelos allege that any racial abuse was directed at him by Celtic supporters in the interview. We apologise to the supporters of Celtic for this serious error. We are reviewing our procedures for translated interviews to ensure this does not occur in future.”
Sky have published a full transcript of the interview, with a “professionally verified translation”, on their website.
These stories are always the same. The planted, blatantly untrue story gets massive exposure while the less than heartfelt apology slides by under the radar. Wouldn't it be easier to rein the player in than plant all this nonsense in the press? Old habits die hard, I suppose. One positive thing to come from this story is Rangers don't enjoy the same amount of press complicity that they used to enjoy. The Scottish football press have basically been the unofficial PR department of Glasgow Rangers and it's painfully obvious at times. Look how they treated Fergus while fawning over Murray as the new king of Scotland. How did that turn out?
