Bro! Wait till you see the video. X cam dropped right in baby! I've heard of this before where the cranks are casted slightly tighter on random hemis. I was looking forward to that too....🙄
You said you had a clearance issue with the crank and cam. Are you referring to the cam hitting the bottom of the piston sleeve or did the lobes hit each other?
That was the governor gear that the plastic governor gear meshes with to keep the motor from running at higher rpms. You don't actually have to remove it when removing the governor but it equates to a tiny bit less rotating mass when removed.
I would do both for sure. Stage 1 will give you the biggest jump in horsepower for the smallest amount of money. The stage 2 only gives a small performance boost with its cam. The rest of the items in the stage 2 are more for strength and longevity of the motor and only give a very tiny amount of a performance boost. Basically, stage 1 gives better performance and stage 2 gives strength to the motor to handle the increased performance.(new cam adds power but not as much as the stage 1 kit)
Hemi the valve covers bigger no it’s shiny and small plus hemis are used more for machinery like snow plows wood chippers and stuff like that hope that helped ill name more ways why its different 😀
@@chandlercustoms8242 good stuff man, any idea on the HP and Torque numbers? I'm kickin' around the idea of cracking open my 212 mounted on a mud motor setup and gettin' er breathing right
@@padronianful I have never had this motor tested so I'm not sure what its actually putting out. These mods can get expensive very quickly, but I know that if you go as far as porting and shaving the head, adding roller rockers, putting the right cam in it, and tuning it properly, you can get them up in the low 20s horsepower range. We stopped this particular build at the Stage 2 and it seems to be plenty of power. If you don't want to go internal, the Stage 1 kit offers an amazing hp gain at a very low cost.

Nice build!! Engine runs good.
More like a stage 3 build with piston isn’t it I only seen the stage 2 kits come with springs cam rod and flywheel. Nice job on the build bro💪🏾💯
Sounds like a winner

How man ft pounds of torque do I use for the billet piston rod to clearance of the crankshaft
Why did you run it prior to changing the springs?
What lubricant are you using for the bolts and other stuff
You said you had a clearance issue with the crank and cam. Are you referring to the cam hitting the bottom of the piston sleeve or did the lobes hit each other?
on the hemi engines you have to shave off part of the ears by the rod journal so they don’t hit the cam
did you use the bolts from the low oil sensor to plug the holes left by the governor?
He used 1/4 self tapping bolts sold by gopowersports
What's the difference between the hot cam, and the mod cam? I'm trying to get lots of speed
Hot cam revs to 7500rpm mod 2 cam is 7000+rpm
What cam
I have a 212 power fist engine, will this work on my engine
I was hoping to see how he fit those Champion rockers on that hemi head....Just kidding. Good video.
Sounds good!
What carb size and jet size y are using
Did you install the stock crankshaft key or did you install the 8degrees advance?
It is still running the stock key but I may have to remedy that now that you mention it!
The ARC flywheel has the 8 degree advance built in.
Why did you skip the cam install?
Ola como eu consigo esse volante
What was that gear you removed off the crankshaft and what does it do exactly
That was the governor gear that the plastic governor gear meshes with to keep the motor from running at higher rpms. You don't actually have to remove it when removing the governor but it equates to a tiny bit less rotating mass when removed.

Did u use break in oil for the first 30 min or r u ok using 10w-30?
I buy oil that say High Zinc
Hey man one question for ya is the stage 1 kit necessary if i want to install the stage 2 kit or i can skip stage one and go straight to stage 2 ?

Ok bro where did you get that puller from????
Harbor freight has them cheap
Looks badass, why not swap the exhaust though too?
Only used the stock exhaust for the break-in. It has a nice header on it now. I'll have to post a video of it running on the go-cart it was built for.

Nice work do you do sell engines that are built for public
I do not sell or build any engines at this time but may again in the future. My day job keeps me quite busy.
Who sells the stage kits for these? Also for 79cc. I want the billet flywheels since I’m running without a gov. Thanks. Great video.
