- In This Video, I will be giving my honest review of the anime Charlotte, and ranking the characters on a tier list! My content is satire in nature and while it may sound like I disliked the anime it's mostly bad jokes. I will be talking about what makes it definitely an anime... by insulting everything about it. Season 1 of this anime was released on July 4, 2015. There is currently only one season and since this anime did come to an end there will not be another but maybe some OVA'S. There is a manga that you can read, so I recommend reading it even though I have no idea what happens. This video contains light spoilers, so be aware if you plan on watching the anime or reading the manga. If you do happen to read this much by some miracle, I am always open to suggestions, whether new content or problems with the videos. As someone that loves Charlotte a lot yes there are flaws in like the ending but me personally I don’t have a problem with the ending he did what he was supposed to do at the end plus Yuu’s villain arc was a great arc

I really had a good impression of Charlotte but while watching the video I realized that after watching 2 times many major events and characters are really irrelevant, so much so that I didn't even remember them. Good video Lunar, I'm really appreciating the videos with constant comparison between two anime like the Jujutsu kaisen one and this. Keep up the good work!!

My only complaint with Charlotte was the end. The time travel thing ruined it. So sometimes I watch back up to that episode and stop. But it's a great watch though. If they continued with the death time line it could have been god tier

I absolutely adore Charlotte, objectively speaking it's a mid anime but I have watched it 12 times and will fight anyone who says I'm not allowed to enjoy it.
Love the vid, I'm obviously aware the anime makes no sense(is super rushed) past ep 6 but idk I like it a lot, all the flaws just never bothered me.

I love charlotte sm it's my favorite anime im emotionally attached to everything about it. It's so underrated, Yuu and Shunsuke are both my simps they should def get more attention as husbandos

I know that the comet literally give the name to the series, but let's be honest, there are LOTS of better ways to explain how childrem get superpwers, and most of them makes more sense.

dude this anime was amazing!!! It made me cry but yeah It got rlly fast at the end lol it was a whole switch up
Time travel always does create plot holes but the writer did a decent job, other than the fact that character development is set back due to it
Thing is the reason he doesn’t go back in time after getting the healing power has a really good reason due to the fact that things could turn out worse, he could die, among other things
Also for meeting the concert person again, he did likely do it after time travel cause in the end you can see Na… I mean Charlottes brother holding her CD
But yeah the quality did go down at the end, the ending felt rushed and I feel like it, and just the romance of the story would’ve been good to flesh out a bit more, like maybe another episode or 2

Regardless it remains one of my favorites, because despite the plot holes, it’s really easy to get immersed in and I don’t usually get teary eyed from shows but this show managed to do that, it really puts you on the emotional rollercoaster

I started to watch this anime for 2 reasons
1st: my name is Charlotte and I just thought it was fitting
2nd: My favourite anime (angel beats) was by the same author so I assumed it’ll make me cry just as hard or even more than angel beats 😂
Overall I liked it but it should have been so much better. In the end there were just too many individual story moments and character decisions as well as character outcomes that I disagreed with entirely. Also way too many plot holes and rushed episodes by the end of it. Angel beats was definitely much better overall because everything came together a lot more nicely by the end of it and just overall made a lot more sense and didn’t feel like a jumbled mess that made you feel unsatisfied with the outcomes of certain characters and storyline like Charlotte did. If the manga or light novel happens to be much better someone please let me know without spoiling anything of course. I don’t need to know any details just if it’s actually better or not.
Sky High is a film I watched in russijan twice as a kid and didnt realize it was an american film.
Man at the beginning i loved charlotte it had such potential but messed it up with the ending. They could've either made a less convoluted ending or made it atleast 20 episodes to flesh out the ending. It was rushed and forced which is a shame because i was really liking it at the start
Will you watch Clannad? And the After Story too if possible, but make it separate review like you did with Fate series.

i full on cried on the second to last episode of clannad. a whole fit, i was too emotionally attached to the characters. honestly it’s sums up life so beautifully in 2 seasons

Lunar you should watch Cautious hero; it’s a parody isekai with a very cautious hero but with a sad twist in the end
I actually like this more than angel beats. Somehow, this one made me cry, angek beats were funnier and had better music, but this one made me feel things, plus the protagonist is more interesting
As much as i love this show last 5 episodes really leave me feeling empty

the biggest issue Charlotte had in my opinion is that it should have went on for 2 cours. 12 episodes made it feel extremely rushed especially when the second brother was revealed.
