Surprisingly enough Cu is really young in his legend he was prophesied to live a short but glorious life so he died before reaching adulthood he is 18 at most
This is objectively wrong. He heard the prophecy an dthen at like 13 he went to Scathach. Had a kid with Aife, who was also trained by Scathach and then came to fight him as a teenager. Cu killing Connla happens when he is at least 28. Cu probably died in his early 30s(ironically like EMIYA).
He lived long enough to father at least one son (Connla) and fought against him later in life. Even if he knocked up Aife at 13, he would have to be at least 26 or so to fight Connla later.
I don't know why but when I watched this anime, I thought she was gonna suck at cooking lol, then I realised that someone like her who was on her own for so many years had to have some experience.

The manga has a few special chapters set in FGO. The main cafeteria staff are EMIYA and Boudica, Fionn is the seafood supplier, Touta is the rice supplier, Tama-cat cannot be left unsupervised in the kitchen.
This anime is such a unique piece. It is, without a doubt, my favorite in the entire franchise. Yet, without all the other anime, it'd be really boring, as we'd have no connection to any of the characters, and we wouldn't wish so desperately to see them happy. Final score: 10 delicious Shirou-made desserts/10
I don't know why I love these kind of slice of life shows maybe it's just they are nice way to refresh yourself before descending back into say Made in Abyss and obviously it's nice not to see someone being slowly eaten by insects or getting ploughed through a wall. One of my favourites of this kind is Restaurant to another world as 1) anime food is amazing and 2) the world building is actually pretty good.
The funny psychopriest gets his time to shine as a chef in the OVA of Prisma Illya. Kirei owns a restaurant there and kills off all his visitors one by one via making the spiciest mapo tofu in the world.
I remember trying to watch this show for the first tine and I kept pausing it and clicking out. Not because it was bad or too wholesome. But because everytime I saw any of the characters that died in the original story smile and be happy, it kept having me break down in tears. Especially the Illya episode(Christmas one), that was just too fucking wholesome I couldn't stop crying...
Out of all the fate reviews, this is the one that I enjoyed the most unironically. Many jokes and its pretty goofy enough to make me laugh. Continue the good work
neat little detail that you probably missed coming into this late: this wasn't an anime season. episode 1 aired on new years, and we got one new episode once a month thorough the whole of that year. That's why some of the episodes feel so seasonal

What I remember, from there, is that future collapsed, because Mitsuzuru, or whatever his name was, gave it "shape" as Shiki described it, which in turn allowed her to "kill" it. Actualy, prisma is a doujin too, if I am not mistaken, though somewhat canonized thought the fgo event. Before the event itself, I would never consider prisma to be canon. As for the today's menu, I personally, see zero reasons not to consider it as "canon".

This anime is one of those things where if you're not into it, it's not going to be all that great, but if you are, it's going to be absolutely amazing 10/10 material. And of course just Saber being Saber makes this anime a 10/10.

I think this timeline occurs just before Hollow Ataraxia bcos Bazett and Caren are not there and it explains Kirei's absence. It also similar to the slice of life event's in Hollow Ataraxia like the one where Shirou teaches Caster and Sakura was there.
If you haven't I'd definitely check out kara no kyokai the garden of sinners, it takes place in the fate universe and has alot more of a darker tone than the rest of fate and is one of ufotables best
If you liked Cooking with Emiya, you should also try reading Fate/Hallow Ataraxia. It's like everyone decided fighting in the holy grail war is too much work, and just chills and has slice of life shenanigans instead. And it's canon.

In the end of the VN, Avenger and Bazzett are forced to dissolve the wish-world completely, by proxy, eliminating all events of the past four nights. In doing so, the Holy Grail War is started but left in a strange limbo in which Avenger never entered the Grail, creating a timeline in which the 5th War still occurs but with very little stakes, retaining the peace found within the wish-world. Characters that shouldn't be alive via this change are therefore left out, so Kirei with his black heart, Gil with his goop-given body, and Cursed Arm summoned by Kirei, are not included. Thus, everyone gets to live happily ever after, and the Servants are left in the world untethered to the Grail, free to enjoy the wonders of a cooking spinoff.
