I had already started changing the outlet and just needed to know if the wires connect to the screws only or the squeezy things there too... sheesh, after an hour I can go back now in the dark with a flashlight and finish this
I couldn’t really see which bolt you we’re screwing the wires to. Perhaps you can place your camera directly about the outlet for a clear view. Thank you for the video though.

Do not use 14 gauge wire on 30 amp circuits. You need 10 gauge.
I do not understand why you are using a 14-3 wire. NEC table 310.15(B)(16) show 14 awg as 15 amp.

if that romex goes straight doen the wall and thru the floor does it need some type of conduit ?
If my wires are too short can I and too the existing wire with the same wire to make it a little longer?
Does the red wire always goes on the left hot terminal or it doesn’t matter where you place the red and black?
