The actual mowing, instead of taking all day, mower in the background starting and stalling, the guy can cut the lawn in 20 minutes or less and you don't have to worry about the noise all day or for hours on end.

Just traded in my TRX for the new Raptor R 13 days ago, in my personal opinion yes the TRX interior is nicer, it does look a bit more aggressive than the Raptor, but the Raptor R is just so much more powerful and the suspension is so much better for off road. That is why I say in personal experience after trading in my TRX for a Raptor R, Raptor R is better than TRX
I had a TRX went to Raptor R and took it back for another TRX....IMO the TRX is just a better truck... I could care less about a few feet faster given for a few thousand it reverses that and still cheaper if you get a 2022 or 23 with under 10k miles....
Power is basically identical. The R weighs less, that’s where its advantage in the 1/4 comes from. I have a TRX and briefly thought about trading it for an R, until I had a chance to drive one. Not only was the interior not as nice, but I was especially disappointed in the lack of SC whine that I have gotten so used to from the Hellcat. The ADM’s in my opinion are not worth the price of admission for the R.

R for the win. Your gauges were blue so you didn’t even have it in sport mode (white gauges). Sport mode really wakes it up even more. I put RPG Off-road lift kit on mine and then some real Toyo 37x12.5MT with 4Play wheels.
I have a Raptor R on order and looking at the same tires. I've had them on several other trucks and work great off road. A bit noisy on road, but it's a truck.
Judging from the front end, i.e. head lights and unflushed Ford logo and decals; this is not the new 2024 Raptor-R with 720 Hp. This is the 2023 Raptor R with just 700 hp. Just imagine a race with the newer 720 hp.
The regular Raptor needs a 93 octane or e85 tune from one of the reputable companies to make it feel worthy of the name. I had a 2018 Raptor with the MPT 93 PRX tune for two years before trading it for a 2020 Ram Limited. I loved the interior and the ride of the air suspension and liked how it self leveled while towing but I hated the weakness of the Hemi! Only 20 months later I was back in a Raptor and had the MPT tune loaded two days later! This was two years ago and I hadn’t paid attention that the R model was coming out or I might have waited for one of them but for now I am happy with my regular Raptor and tune. The 93 octane tune is enough to get you into trouble.
V6 '24 Raptor owner here (and purchased at Whitmoyer too). I would love an R, but the price was just too expensive. The regular Raptor makes sense from a price and gas mileage perspective for a daily for me. No doubt having that Predator V8 would be the ultimate goal, but I'm super happy with my regular Gen 3 Raptor. Glad to see you've seen the light on the Raptor though 😂🤣
I like the Raptor R. Its a bad ass truck. Only thing I wished Ford didn't drop the Torsen from the front differential on the Raptors starting in 2023. Are you using Amsoil synthetics?

That's why the raptor has a little less hp and will win a drag race but the TRX can pull the Rapter around like a rag doll (and look way better doing it). There is a video of Cletus McFarland doing just that with his TRX.
Mike, the shifter folds down in the raptor so the center fold-out will lay flat. I forget how to do it, but there’s a button that will fold the shifter down while you’re in drive.

Raptor just looks more special than trx. You know a raptor f150 over a f150. trx looks like a rebel and to close to a regular ram. plus knowing v8 is gone from rams and this year raptor r get more power better exhaust and better suspension shows that the raptor is here to stay for a bit
Put 37s on my ram 1500… it was so slow and sluggish. I couldn’t stand it.. went back to the stock size and it was and day. Not a fan of 37 on a TRX. It destroys the performance.
I hate to say it but I’m a bigger fan of the Ford. I really dig the Predator engine.The TRX interior is way better. They’ve really stepped it up against Ford and GM in that respect.
Predator is GT500 platform. Carnivore is the Raptor 5.2. But I agree with the first part of your statement. Just a bigger fan of the Raptor all around. Interior, exterior. But that’s just my taste. And Fords Limited Superduty over Dodge limited and even Denali Ultimate. And I drive a Duramax so not biased.
TRX looks meaner, has nicer interior and can drag the Raptor around the yard all day. The only thing the raptor has is it is on a diet and skinnier runners are always faster.

The Ram has such a unique look the Raptor look more like a F150 because of its grille. Speed sure isn’t everything it can get old getting tickets and paying for them with both trucks. Give me the GMC over the Ford and Ram.😊

I'm sure the R will still win...just curious....My vote, and I say this as the biggest fan of Ford, is the TRX. For the price, get a TRX and change a pulley.
My “standard” Raptor 37 came with the same BFG A/Ts & they measure just under 37” tall when NOT compressed (aka under load). That’s how the industry measure works for LT tires. I’ve since swapped over to Mickey Thompson Baja Boss M/T 37s & they measure to 36.8” … close enough to where most of us in the truck community just call them 37s.
I'm a RAM guy, but the Raptor Rs are badass. They're lighter, have more horsepower, and they have the 10-speed automatic transmission that puts the HP down like no other. Your TRX with the larger tires is around 1000lbs heavier, so it needs the Hennessey Mammoth edition upgrade and it'll be fine. lol.
I have a 23 Raptor R and a 24 FE TRX. I think the Ram is a nicer truck with a smoother power delivery. The Raptor however is the better off-road build platform for sure. Dial in your settings with the R button on the wheel and you can really fine tune the power delivery and ride.
It's the exact same for the regular f150. The eco boost is good, but when you drive the exact same model except with a v8, it's a totally different experience. I can't believe they sell 34 inch tires as 37s'.
Raptor for sure, imagine a modified one if the stock one is quick. Might be wrong but I would imagine raptor is also lighter curb weight compared to trx.

I feel the complete opposite. The TRX stands out incredibly. You can only tell a Raptor R by the red R on it and red tow hooks.

Build, I imagine the upgraded throttle body, maybe larger supercharger, ECU and TCU tune with accompanying bolt ons this should turn into a power monster. Amazing what is being done with the Coyote 5.0s

Raptor R is better in every single way except for the price / ADMs.

Im riding with the R but not to take anything away from the TRX still a ultra solid unit

Whipple just made a 3.8 liter super charger for the Raptor R. It adds over 200 HP to it. Cleetus just put one on his Raptor R.
