Agreed.
@Kira Grima-Williams I get what you mean, but personally, in the grand scheme of things, it's not really that much.
Kira Grima-Williams you have 35 subs
@@sticks2221 and?
So basically, you don't have to draw every frame where the monk arm is moving. You can just draw three frames but one needs to show the smear. If that's the case, it makes a lot of sense.
Thanks! I am a computer engineer, working in video games industry. and I find these very helpful for my passion projects, where I work solo :) trying to improve my art side :))

Hello my old fRIEND.

It's weird. The more of these animation smear videos I see, the more I wonder why they said nothing about smearing in the animation school I went to.
Same i never heard tutorial of smearing in my animation
This is a great, informative, and easy to understand video. Nice work! You deserve more views.

Didn't I see this exact post on tumblr a couple days ago???
This will help me I know, I just have a really hard time understanding things 😔
This is great!!! But I have a question do you make all your Animations by your self? Just wondering....
Yes, as of right now. All the examples are all animated by me, but that's also because I don't want to get sued using other peoples' animations while selling a package
@@TonikoPantoja sorry to bug but I seen your animation tiny nomad.... And that's why I wanted to know because I Animate with flash but they come nowhere near your Animations, I'm kind of a newbie to this and my Animations suck......Your Animations look so aesthetic and show such life... Anyway thanks for answering my question
Potato camera: *don't underestimate me*
Are smears usually in between the extremes?🤔
Id say it depends on what you are going for, but as a rule of thumb for me i put them before, at the extremes and maybe a tiny bit after. mosty before though.
I really wish I could do hand drawn. But I don't have a cleanup artist no inbetweener. Its hard to be an animator in a country where its not even considered as anything serious.
You can just do those things yourself!
How can i animate like disney?
Here’s my test on smears czcams.com/video/mctH2BYUKFQ/video.html
That dog smiling gave me the creeps
How the hell do you make drawing blurry
How I blurr: I select the area that is suppose to be blurred make it really small. Then select the small version and turn it into its orginal size again. Maybe too simple but it works.
