Join me as I explore the random, non-famous things used by the Ghostbusters from the original films. CHECK OUT MY GHOSTBUSTERS MOVIE: • The Real Ghostbusters ...
Dan Aykroyd has said that when conceptualizing the ecto-1 (and ghostbusting technology in general) nothing was there for just decoration, everything served a purpose. Knowing that single yellow box had a purpose speaks volumes to how much thought is put into this franchise.
True! The fact that it actually did something is awesome. The action figures have a similar thing on their belt -- they came way before the 1989 movie, but I'm telling myself these are what they are.
The funny part is, I would not at all be surprised the same 3d file that was used for the printed ones actually came from the guy who used my LGII as the model.
When I was younger I always assumed that the lifeguards were yellow walkie talkies. Now that I know what those were, I find it kinda funny that the ghostbusters lifeguards didn’t go off when they were knocked down by Vigo. I look forward to seeing what ghostbusters props you’ll be taking about in the future. And just out of curiosity, how many ghostbusters props do you have?
I always thought they were walkies, too! And they look like the things on the Kenner figures' belts. I've got a ton of GB stuff. Just not sure where some of it is...
@@aussiefurbymogwaifan6621 Yeah, some. I've got a bunch of the roof stuff for the Afterlife car already. The 1A car is on the road already, tagged and insured. Haven't painted it or started modifications yet. Going to post a video for that when there's more to tell.
free if your a firefighter or know a lot of firefighters and when your department or another fire departments cleans the station n throws stuff out lol
I got one off ebay a while back, I didn't believe it would still be working even though the listing said it did. I turned it to on and almost had a heart attack lol Sucker is LOUD. Goes without saying, I haven't turned it on again since.
My dad 3D printed mine and it looks amazing accept it shifted a little but once I spray painted it you don't really notice it and I found this old leather texture thing that is black was perfect so I cut it down to size and glued it to the back and it's nice and snug on my belt
Check out GBfans.com or eBay. I think I got mine on eBay. That was like 100 years ago, so I may be wrong. The ribbon cable is different from GB1 to GB2.
Love your work, are you going to do any more gb stuff? I am 3d printing as we speak a Lifeguard II, there are remixes of stl files for it but I went with a OG model of it. Some things pracitcal need to stay just that where as others need the lights and moving parts. After this its a walkie talkie, then the belt holsters etc for them. Wish a 3d printer was like a replicator where the wait time was nothing. 8 hours to print 90% of the top portion, and the 10% will be a few hours for the backing and clip. First big print. Hahah....

I know, I know. Just wait like 15 years. They'll have a replicator sooner or later. Working on tons of GB stuff as we speak...
Can I have one for my local fire museum? Not to bug you though
Can you make a Herbie replica car?
I'm actually working on that right now. More later!
Would you mind selling me one?
Do you know where I can get the real ones for a low enough price
I’m in Germany and can’t find any on the internet to buy.
There a chance to buy one from you?
Would you sell me one?
Don’t suppose you’d consider selling one to a good cause (me) hey dude??? 😬😬😬
Ah, I'm holding onto these guys for the moment. I can't believe how much they've grown in value. They were junk when I bought them!
😂😂😂😂😂😂 OFF.. is pretty good for anybody
Dude. Are you on Facebook or Instagram? I can’t find any on the internet
