This T-mix is an important one for me and I was debating on sharing why…
But life has been lifing and I wanted to be transparent with y’all cuz I know somebody somewhere is going through something similar
In December I lost one of the closest people to me and 2 days after Christmas I snapped my achilles in half. I was in a really dark place mentally and lost hope for a lot of big things I had planned for the year - film projects, a tour etc… I was in shock when it all happened … and if I’m honest, I lost hope, lost hope in myself…who I was …..and what I was meant to do…
Even the day-to-day things like using the bathroom or taking a shower, I could no longer do without help. All at once this has been a very humbling and an enlightening experience. We often take for granted the simple things.
Billie talked about how writing this song helped her get out of a really dark place, and thanks to her vulnerability, her song got me and so many through our own dark times. So shout out to Billie and Finneas for this masterpiece 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾 And thank you to my family and friends who have helped me through this difficult time. I hope that this motivates and inspires any one who feels overwhelmed by the pressure this life can apply. Here’s the sign to not lose hope and Remember, when it gets complicated; God never gives us more than we can handle, and nothing, and no one, can stop God’s plan.
