    I have to say that your reviews are outstanding. Very unbiased, very pro patient needs. At the end of the day we choose to work in this field to directly impact a persons life for the better. Whether we work for Costco as board licensed hearing aid dispensers or BC-HIS, we have the same motivation and care for a patient as a dispensing audiologist. We routinely have local Otolaryngologists, ENTs refer patients to our hearing center. Not only for the affordability and support, but because of how thorough a hearing professional can be when they do not have a commission as motivation. Costco dispensers are hourly or salary employees 100% without commission as motivation, thus resulting in very thorough and concise experience for the patient!

    Thank you for all you do to make others like myself a better informed consumer.
    You did a review on Resound and Phonak line of hearing aids. Please do a review on Starkey line of hearing aids? Thank you, for I am needing an upgrade to a Power model hearing aid for my hearing has gotten worse. Again thank you.

    It seems that one pros of BTE is higher power than RIC, but I also notice phonak RIC receiver has S/M/P power level. From your experience how significant is the severity of hearing loss affecting the choice betweeh BTE or RIC. Thks a lot

    Recently fitted with Phonak paradise 70 rechargeable. Really love it. I'm also wearing a cros on my unaidable ear. Was really disappointed to find out that the app was not do-able with the cros. Any idea when phonak will update that?

      Probably at the same time they might eventually upgrade the app with disposable battery indicators

    Of all the brands I owned in the past 45 years. Phonak durability has been the most disappointing to me

    Wait,.. Im getting costiom molds for my phonak RIC's but not silicone big ones... would I still have an issue with the charger? Would I not be able to get another charger if I need?

    So, I have Lumity Life with C shells. I have a small descant at the bottom of the charger and I still have no problems getting my C shells in the charger. I do agree there is no room to spare, however.

      Ce Shell meaning custom ear mold?
      How do you hear with c shel?
      I am testing the same model as yours but normal rubber mold and the quality is really bad

      Phonak makes great custom molds. Mine are their C shells. I believe the are acrylic. It was a quantum leap improvement over domes. @@VLiviu

    Really wish the disposable battery levels were viewable within the MyPhonak app. Other than that I happy with my Phonak Naida Marvel SP30.

    Do you know where I can find a matrix on the different models and capabilities of Phonak hearing aids? I cannot seem to find anything. Thanks.

    Would glass batteries make it possible to keep the rics small, yet turn them into rechargeable models? And why don't all the hearing aid companies turn all their model of hearing aids into using glass batteries instead of lithium ion batteries?

    • @gotobassmsn
      @gotobassmsn Před rokem

      No Elon Musk is going from lithium ion batteries to glass batteries for things like the new Tesla smartphone. Because from what I heard they have a longer life between charges and 2 they don't get hot and explode like smartphone batteries have a bigger risk of doing. That is why Elon Musk has been doing a lot of research on glass batteries.

      Also why don't Audiology offices offer people with moderate to profoundly deaf the backup option of knowing asl, so when their hearing aids stop working for one reason or another they have a backup way of communicating. For, even with the hearing aids you are still hats off hearing or even deaf without these devices, so why wouldn't you as a person with major hearing loss not want to know and have all the forms of communication available to them. And why don't audiologists provide that for their patients that would like that as a backup for when you have to have your hearing aids sent off for repairs and the such?
